The Body Shop Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil, 3.3 Fl Oz - Honey Kiss 01

This is one of my favorite ways to give myself a glow of tan without any unscreened sun exposure. A couple of basal cell skin cancers have left me very careful to screen myself well from the sun, but I miss the glow of a tan. This product supplies that glow, and it lasts several days or until my next shower, when I re-apply it. It blends in and looks natural if you rub it in on knees and ankles and the tops of feet. I love using it on my shoulders and arms, and if I can get my husband to help, on my back. Do know that it has a strong floral smell that dissipates over the first hour or two. You'll either love the scent or hate it. I love it. It doesn't trigger my migraines like some scents, but I can't speak for others. This is a regular part of my post-shower routine, a must do in shorts weather, but now I'm hooked and use it year round.

I consistently use this product and I have a very fair neutral skin tone. Most other sunless tanning lotions or oils leave me very orange and uneven looking so I had stopped using them all together until I found this. I will say it’s not a product for all skin types. My skin tends to be dry so the oil base absorbs into my skin very quickly just leaving the color and shine. The main critique I’ve seen on this product is the smell however I’ve never found the smell to be very powerful. It does not have a perfumey smell and also does not smell bad and I’ve never felt like the scent lingers for very long after application. And in a final note it does have a bit of shimmer or glitter to it but it is very fine and has never offended me!

I love how this dry oil makes my legs feel and look. It feels luxurious and glamorous and accents a my fair skin nicely. I kind of hoped it would make my skin seem darker (I'm trying to be sun safe these days and not tan much at all) but it just adds a light iridescent shimmer. It also was a bit pricy for a very subtle result. Regardless, it still looks and feels fancy so I'll keep wearing and enjoying it and the nice shimmery glow it gives me.

I guess I'm spoiled from using TANtalizer Bronzer by Lorac from Sephora. I was looking for something less expensive so I ordered this. It is perfumed very strongly and the color separates from the liquid so it doesn't adequately tan your skin. I am throwing it out as it's not usable. I was happily surprised to find the price has decreased for Tantalizer Bronzer so I ordered it and the last tube lasted five years so I'm all set. Don't waste your money on this product unless you just want glitter. I am Caucasian and ordered the regular tantalizer which provides the look of a good tan with luminizer.

This is a wonderful product. The initial scent issue is easily resolved if you shake the bottle thoroughly and I mean thoroughly. I didn't do this so when I first put it on and it was so strong I almost returned it I decided to give it one more chance so the next time I used it I shook it up thoroughly and had no problem with the sent. I think what happens is that it sits on the shelf so long that it separates and the scent additive rises to the top so that's what you come across first. Maybe I got rid of most of it on the first application and what remained was just a light lovely sent for future applications? Who knows. I just shake it thoroughly each time now before using it And it's a light fragrance that is Really nice. You could always pour off some of the initial top section (not much) to in order to lessen the intensity BEFORE shaking it like I unknowingly did directly onto my skin when I first applied it.

I am african american. I love a good sun kissed glow to my skin esspecially in the winter months. This was just ok. It has no staying power, other than the smell of it which is hard to place but not something I would choose to wear. It is very light, and has a light shimmer but you have to use quite a bit of it. I feel like a shimmer body powder would work just as well, but without the heavy fragrance. They may be a bit more mess but I think it would give the same result.

This product smells horrible like I just put it on my arm and left it there for the night and it gave me a headache. Now the amount of shine is perfect. However I am not exaggerating the smell makes you want to vomit. My husband does not like the smell either. I was going to wear it for our vacation and he stated that he does not want me wearing this at all because of the smell. Some people love it. I really wasted my money I had shimmer by olay and love spells bronzer and a moonlight shimmer they all have a light scent and more shine or just as much. I am a dark chocolate African American so its hard to find products that give you that golden look that this does so I can see it does the job as far as that golden look however I rather just be glittery with my other products rather than golden and smell bad and make everybody around me want to hurl, I am going to keep it for now and practice mixing it with other lotions to see how much the smell can be masked. I will be doing a review on youtube if I am able too or selling it on poshmark. It gets an extra star for the golden look!

This product smell wonderful. It has a very smooth feel when on your skin, be sure to give it a few minutes to soak in before getting dressed. The tint is light unless several applications are placed on top of one another, however, there's only so much oil your skin will absorb so multi application is not possible within a short time frame. Going back later in the day allows for more color. It's not dark by any means, however, it does take away the glowing white skin away and give a hint of color with a pleasant scent and shimmer as well. It's a little difficult to shake from the bottle, but if the delivery hole was larger it would spill everywhere. All in all I'm happy with this item and I'd buy it again. 5 stars!

This case ordered for my daughter and she absolutely loves it, I was cautious as it looks quite dark in the bottle but it is lovely on and she hasn't even got a tan yet, she is looking forward to taking it on holiday for the evenings, my guess is it will look stunning, quite a light fragrance to it and do remember to shake it really well before applying

Love this, it goes well with tan to dark skin tones. Would not recommend for very light skin. Would be nice after tan.
