perfect egg pan
It is easy to clean by hand, nothing seems to stick. I do need to use pure dishwashing soap to remove the oil from cooking in order to get it squeaky clean. But that is true for most of my dishwashing of anything plastic. It is much heavier than the pan it replaced, which is a good thing. However, I found that the handle is a little too heavy and it does not sit as flat as I would like on the burner, until you add an egg or two. I shortened the handle a little to offset some of that weight, and now the handle gets rather hot. I believe that the handle gets too hot because they used so much heavy metal in it. No need for a heavy handle. I think that the pan will hold up a long time, but only time will answer that question. I do really like it, despite the heavy hot handle.

Perfect nonstick cooking pan that is oven safe
This is the best pan. The coating goes over the bolts on the inside making it easy to wash. The coating is fantastic and I don't have to use oil because nothing sticks to it. I like being able to take the plastic handle off and pop it in the oven to finish a dish. One of the best pans I own.

Excessively engraved base, uneven cooking surface
I have a couple of older Vollrath pans, and appreciate their commercial-quality. This fry-pan seems certainly well-made, except for one annoying issue: The current logo is HEAVILY engraved on the pan's bottom (the older Vollrath pans have a less "invasive" logo). So much so, that it actually makes the cooking surface bulbous/uneven. I had the 1st 7" pan replaced because I thought I had received a defective item. The replacement arrived, and I realized this is just how they're being manufactured.I admit I'm picky. But, in short, I know I can buy TWO Calphalon Contemporaries for under 50 bucks (one 10" + one 12") - Using that as a price comparison, I just can't pay $35 for an eggs-only 7" pan that isn't even flat on the bottom.

Has stood the test of time
We had needed a dedicated egg pan when I purchased this one. We have had this pan 6 years now and even with a bit of wear & tear, it is still like new. Eggs glide beautifully. Silicone handle cover still fits like a glove. We have taken care of this pan. It's always hand washed and only non-stick friendly utensils are used. Which often aren't even needed because you can flip an egg in this pan easily with a simple toss. It's a small pan, so if the grate openings on your stove are wide, of course the pan will tilt, it has nothing to do with the pan lacking in any quality whatsoever. It's bottom is balanced and flat just fine. Love this pan!

Well-made and worth the investment
Order this pan at the Insistence of my lifelong restaurant worker husband. He swore it was the best non-stick pan heat ever used and stood up to heavy use and commercial kitchens he had worked in. Can’t get a better recommendation than that. I still don’t put it in the dishwasher like any nonstick pan, but it has certainly performed well so far. Had it for about two years now.

Too hot to handle
Does not fit on my stove...keeps falling in. The handle gets very hot. You need to use a mitt or a towel to pick it up. The non-stick is good, but the pan is a pain to cook with. Looks cheap.

Blue handle keeps slipping away
But regardless it is a great product.
