Robert Johnson for Ukulele

I'm glad for a ukulele Robert Johnson song book. I love the Mississippi Delta blues and play several other of the old blues artist songs on the uke. So far I have only worked on "Kind Hearted Woman", but I like the bluesy chords and riffs. There are many CDs with all of Robert Johnson's original recordings on them. Every song in this book is covered on those CDs so that will help anyone that is unfamiliar with all of the tunes. I hope to be able to play them all some day.

This is much easier to play than I thought it would be, which is a delightful surprise. I'm having a great time learning riffs, and I sound so much better than I actually am. One of my favorite uke books.

Robert Johnsons music is inspiring to say the least, and with some of his greatest songs set up for playing on the ukulele is fun. This book has me playing along to the legends music on my uke. Robert Johnsons music is awesome, and great fun to play on the uke. Enjoy!

Excellent book, I play both GCEA and Baritone uke. Get a Hal Leonard Chord Finder for Uke- either or both type and this helps if you are puzzled by some of the chords. While it may not have any instructions or diagrams for chords- it's a treasure for the intermediate or advanced player.

The arrangements seem odd to me. I'm a pretty good player and have used several books in the past. There is no CD to listen to and the fingering rerquired in these arrangements seems almost impossible to follow. Using the chords as a reference and picking up a few licks here and there is about the best you can expect. I listened to some of these tunes on youtube in order to get even close to what I needed to play.

I can't read the notes on my Kindles software. They are too small.

Great if you are into Mr Johnson but, like me, are rubbish at guitar but can manage a uke! Still challengeing though!

A distanza di due settimane rivedo il mio giudizio iniziale, togliendo una stella. Le tablatura non sono complicatissime, in effetti sono per Ukulele che di per sé non è uno strumento eccessivamente difficile, ma sono simpatiche e suonarle con l'Ukulele da soddisfazione. Premetto che uso un Soprano, non le ho provate tutte ma quattro o cinque, suppongo ad occhio che comunque tutte siano suonabili con un Soprano.Stranamente manca la mitica Crossroads come anche Ramblin on my Mind.Di certo ci vorrebbero i file audio per orientarsi un po' con alcuni passaggi che, se nel complesso richiamano quelli degli originali, a volte necessitano di un po' di prove per capire come dovrebbero suonare.

Das ist ein hervorragendes Ukulelen-Buch mit Tab-Darstellung (nicht einfach nur Text mit darüber stehenden Harmonien).Es eignet sich eher nicht für Anfänger, man sollte schon das Instrument länger beherrschen und Tabs lesen können.Für mich eine ganz klare Empfehlung: Super Buch mit den meisten wichtigen Stücken dieses Ausnahmekünstlers!

ottimi arrangiamenti per ukulele dei classici del blues del Maestro. sarebbe stato interessante riportare anche delle trascrizioni per qualche brano (omesso) in accordatura aperta, fattibile (vedi crossroads blues). nel complesso interessante e divertente.
