Long Tru-Cool LPD Transmission Oil Cooler 4451 11,500 GVW

I just wanted to extend the life of my 94 corolla auto tranny, so I decided to use this. placed it in the front of airconditioning condenser beside the FAN.Routed the output of the radiator tranny cooling hose to this cooler and then back to the tranny.i used Gates hoses and was careful in routing the hoses as one side is close to the exhaust manifold.once done, checked for leaks and planned a trip from cali to vegas and back.one thing noticeable was after a long and hard drive, the torque during acceleration is still there as if it was driven at all. (like early in the morning). yup, the cooler is doing its job.cons- well, if you have a cold winter morning, my tranny does not want to shift up to the last gear, UNTIL is warm.takes about 10 mins running and all is fine..

Purchased for a 2014 Mazda 3 with puny,tin-can cooler. Transmission temps high..in the 230 degree range on hot days. Made an adapter plate and purchased a fluid thermostat. Temps are much, much lower. Haven't even hit 175 yet. But there is hotter weather to come. Will update after a few really hot days.

Good quality cooler. Dropped tranny temps by about 20F when pulling long grades. Mounted in a v6 Tacoma, and had to buy some extra 3/8 atf hose to complete the install.

A well made cooler, my only complaint is I needed more hose.

I have this 4451 cooler setup as a power steering oil cooler for my 2012 Tacoma. Great way to keep the oil and pump cooler. This truck doesn’t come with a cooler from the factory. I bought the cooler from eBay though.

High quality cooler and very easy to install, it does its job flawlessly.
