Scaredy Squirrel Prepares for Halloween: A Safety Guide for Scaredies

The kids love scaredy squirrel! Bought used, came in excellent condition.

Cutest book! My kindergarten kiddos BEG for me to read this book!

My son has all Scaredy S. book and keeps them like a treasure!They are loaded with fun and great vocabulary builders!My son is 5 but a good reader and he just have to read them all one by one at least twice a day.The author should immediately start to write few more of these. Please!

Scaredy squirrel is hilarious! It’s a long book but very funny and cute.

We are big fan's of Scaredy. My 5 1/2 year old said that the book "had a lot of good information in it". We followed instructions carefully and made a non-scary jack-o-lantern. Our Scaredy Squirrel hand puppet even got dressed up like a mummy (which would probably fall into the category of "terrifying").

My kindergarteners love the Scaredy the Squirrel books, so I thought they would love the Halloween book. They did enjoy it, but I was disappointed that it was more of a safety guide than a Halloween story. Still it is a cute story that kids familiar with Scaredy will relate to and enjoy.

Fun book for kids!

Good book for my class. We read a chapter a day. They couldn't wait to hear the next!

Personally I find the Scaredy Squirrel series to be rather wordy but the author obviously knows what kids like because my six year old nephew has been following this series for two years and can't get enough. He even insists we celebrate Scaredy Squirrel's birthday every October!This is the best of the longer books in the series. The Halloween theme makes it interesting, fun and engaging. The mini chapters include topics such as costumes, Halloween candy, hosting a party and how to evade the monsters. It is all very cartoony and not at all scary. It is very appropriate for younger children. Great book but I'm getting a little tired of the repeated requests to reread it! :)

This book is just ridiculous! It is about an anxiety ridden squirrel that is terrified of the world. I would not recommend this for any child.

Cute books as always!

Excellent book. My grandkids have all really liked all the Scaredy Squirrel Books. This one made a great gift for October especially but good anytime.
