YNYNEW Replacement EB-BT710ABA Tablet Battery for Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0", Tab S2 Nook 8.0, SM-T710, T713, T715, T719 with Free Tools

This was one of the hardest replacements I ever accomplished. The battery itself is perfect, but getting the back cover off a Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8" was extremely difficult. The plastic pry tool was not sufficient, and as I looked at videos on YouTube I noticed many seem to suggest opening the front (using suction cup, heat gun), detaching the touchscreen, etc. - yuck. Eventually I used a tiny screwdriver to dig a slot through the rear plastic cover, so I could lift it enough to start separating it from the frame. From there, normal pry tool procedures worked (broke a few snap-claws, but it still stuck together well in the end).The replacement battery is working fine, but the replacement process was quite difficult - hard to expert level.

I put this in my husbands tablet did not have a problem but the peace to take off back did not work but I had a tool that came with my silhouette cameo that took it right off no problem at all. If I can do it anyone can I am a 65 year old grandma.

There were no instructions included. I tried the included tools to remove the back cover of my Samsung Galaxy S2 8, but I was not successful. I researched online and looked at several U-Tube videos and I was still not able to remove the back cover. I have fairly good mechanical aptitude and this is a job that I could not handle.

I replaced the battery in my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablet today, using this kit. It went very smoothly except that the little blue tool included in the kit is useless. It snapped as soon as I started trying to use it. However, I got the process started using a razor scraper tool - the kind with a heavy-duty blade - to pry open one corner. Then I easily pried open the rest with the little blue guitar pick they somehow included in the kit. The new battery is working and I'm hoping holds a charge longer than my old one did.

The online installation video was quite helpful.

Tool kit is useless. I could not take the back off. The tool just broke. So I dont even know ifthe battery works? Finally put in battery and tab does not fit and will not stay connected.

Worked as advertised, change out was easy with tools provided.

The tools that came with the kit are useless.
