The tube is shorter than I expected but the thing works great!
I bought this to use as a sort of water faucet on a portable slop sink I built. All I needed was something which could pump water from a reservoir out a spout, the same way as a sink faucet would, to rinse things while wet sanding them. This pump provides a good steady flow of water for this purpose. It features an automatic cut off after a brief period (I haven't timed it but it feels like it's about 1 minute). The tube included with it is extremely short so I purchased a replacement piece of transparent nylon tubing at Home Depot for my purposes and even with the extra length, the pump in this unit functions perfectly. One thing to note if you're using this for its intended portable camping type purposes to dispense drinking water- it is a very loud pump especially at the start of the pumping cycle. It would very likely wake up anyone else in your party that is sleeping so it is definitely not optimal for use after lights out.I haven't tested the battery life yet as I haven't had the unit for that long, however, I have been keeping the unit plugged in using a USB cable and a wall adapter during use. Since this seems to keep the unit functioning without the battery going flat I would imagine that, when the internal battery ultimately fails, you could power it using an external USB battery bank. It would probably also be easy to open it up and replace the battery if you're handy with tools.

Installation was confusing; otherwise brilliant.
We bought this pump for camping trips, and got to use it for the first time a couple of weeks ago at a church campout. Even after the novelty wore off, everyone thought it was brilliant. The kids were a little more eager to stay hydrated, even. The main point of confusion was installation. Various reviews recommended avoiding water jugs with a screw top, so we got a standard 5-gallon jug with the plastic cap. You know, the kind you'd put on a water cooler, with a cap that you can either tear off or punch out the small plastic center.Initially I left the cap on, punched out the center, ran the intake hose into the bottle and tried to fit the pump onto the plastic cap. But it felt like I was forcing it, and maybe going to damage the unit. So I tore off the plastic cap and just set the pump on the bottle opening. That was too loose. A strong wind could probably take the pump off the bottle.Convinced I was doing it wrong, a buddy of mine put the cap back on and forced the pump on when I wasn't around. He was right, as it seemed to just need a little more muscle than I gave it.The only other downside was that this was such a convenient way to dispense water that everyone around was inclined to use it, and we drained a 5-gallon jug in less than two days. (And the battery lasted the entire bottle.) Normally that would last my family a 3-day weekend. So be ready to share!I'd consider buying a second one of these--one for drinking water, and one for dish/hand washing. It's a great product.

The best Bottle Pump ever and lover that it stays charged for months. Two thumbs up!!
This has got to be one of the best thing since slice bread..I had to replace my free standing water dispenser due to a sudden build up of dirt.. I bought this electric bottle pump to give myself some time before buying another big water dispenser..I bought this Bottle Pump in mid August an charged it the same day for the entire day... not it’s the end of October and it has not been charged since then. My boys and I use our bottle pump every single day.. it is no easy to install even a 3 year old can set this up.. I’ve used my bottle pump for outings such as picnics. I used it with a bottle filled with tap water so we had water to wash our hands after playing ball in the park... I LOVE this bottle pump. I will be getting another soon

Great product!
Super easy to install and use. Bought it for my office. Wished it screwed onto the bottle for it to sit on top better but it still doesn't fall off or anything. Also it's a tad on the loud side when dispensing water but doesn't bother me.

One of my favorite Amazon purchases!
This little gizmo is amazing! Just charge it (like a phone), place it on a large water dispensing bottle and it pumps it out like crazy. I fill my large decanter with it daily and it goes a really long time between charges. Highly recommend!

Works great
My boyfriend was skeptical of this contraption, but we both love it. It's so convenient to just stick on top of the water jug and push a button and you're set. I haven't had to recharge it yet and i'm on my second jug of water right now. very good product for my needs

Love it
The only criticism is that it does fit tight on the bottle as a cap. It stays in place just fine but it doesn't quite work as cap. I can see a little bit of extra evaporation being an issue over time and perhaps insects getting into the water.

Nice product
Product works great, no issues with the water tasting any different. Make sure you boil the tube the water is dispersed through before use. That’s what the instructions said at least and I did so before use.
