RemoAmbassador Coated Bass Drum Head - 22 Inch

The history and quality of this head is remarkable and as a drummer I have never been disappointed with making this my choice, keep the beat, choose Remo.

This is hands down the best all around snare drum batter head. Don’t bother with pre-muffled over complicated heads. This is the best head for a pure sound. If you need to calm some overtones just put a moongel on it. You can’t add tone back, but you can always take it away with a little muffling.

Nothing but Remo heads for me. Less ring than the Ambassador X.

I used this head for octabons in the studio. The head has a quick crack and and responsive feel. In addition, dynamics were easily executable for usage of p to ff.

Great reso heads

I guess everyone has there own opinion, and if they get free drum heads, they will settle for any drum head !!! But nobody beats Remo all around !!! I think I have tryed every possible drum head !!! First Choice for Myself !!!

I love Remo Ambassadors on my snare drums. I’ve tried all other brands but always come back to these. They are very easy to tune and Can be a little ringy but I’d rather have that available and dampen a little if needed than have too dry a sound to start with.Also these are great on toms and bass drums, a real all rounder.

I can create a pleasant, (to me) snare sound with these batter heads. Tuned lower gives a fatter sound. Higher, more of a pop. I also use an 'e-ring' on my 14x6 steel snare to reduce the 'ringing'.

A great product and great sound now I’ve got them on my pearl kit that’s all it needed was great skins
