Please Don't Talk so Loud! Update 12/11/19
Update: (I had one hearing device fail, but not completely the sound was just scratchy and I thought BLJ only had a 30 day warranty. I was wrong on that point. The warranty is for one year and once BLJ made that clear to me they took care of the problem. I am now returning my rating to 5 stars. I've been using these now for about 7 months and they are very durable and are very easy to use.) These are great little devices. Well here is the deal with these hearing aids. First they are very small, don't be fooled by the pictures. It will take some time to figure them out. You will have to figure what cushion fits you best. They come with, small, medium and large. I tried them all. I found that the small work best for me. There will be a lot of squeal while you try to figure out what volume, mode and cushion to use. Also you will have to figure out how far to push them into the ear canal. I was getting squealing if I put my jaw in a different position and I found this very annoying. We are made of flesh and bone and when we move our mouth it will change the shape of the ear canal. I found that this problem can be over come by placing the hearing aid deep enough into the ear canal to assure a good seal to prevent feed back (squeal). Don't give up on these little hearing aids, for the money they are great. I'm hearing, birds, crickets, and frogs. These are things that I didn't even realize were missing from my life. I can keep up with conversations much better now. You will have to give your brain time to adjust to the new sound and it will start to seem more normal as time goes on. I tried Eargo and I think they are the best out here on the internet and the people that make them will actually talk to you and provide the best help and service. The only problem is my hearing lose is so bad that Eargo could not provide the volume that I needed. So I returned for a full refund less handling cost. I am !00 percent satisfied with the BLJ hearing aids. I have the left and right. They provide great volume and with 3 modes you have a very good chance to find one that works for you. The price is fantastic! I've only been wearing these for a month, so I think I will continue to figure out more ways to make them work better for me. I prefer the battery rather than charging types. With batteries if they go dead while out and about, no problem just put in a fresh battery and off you go. I keep a pack of batteries in my billfold, that's just too handy. All I can tell you is no matter what hearing aids you try you will have to do a lot of experimenting to get them right. So hell, I've done all the work for you with this brand. so get a pair of these and use my advise and start enjoying telling other people to not talk so loud. Good Luck my friends.

My father in law can hear us now
I bought these for my father in law who was having a very hard time hearing and did not like his hearing aids. He tried these and loves them. He can even hear us now. I am amazed. They do give off a high pitched noise when you adjust the volume but it goes away.

If you haved hearing loss .then this the chemo for your ears !!!!!!!!!!
I'm not a writer or author so I'm going to keep it very short and to the point.i have had pblems hearing ever since I was younger.and then 2 years ago I find out I have stage 4 head and neck cancer.well the chemo and radiation really took its toll on my head in every way possible.wellafter having to have every tooth in my mouth removed and losing my ability to taste good also well we're at it let's though hearing loss into mix also lol.again this wasn't going to be a long drawn out personal profile lol.iguess I just wanted let whoever know I probably smiled as big as the day I was cancer free because I was sure I was going to have to ask everyone to speak up.but as of 303 today that fear disappeared all I can say is that this these aids are worth every dime and this the 5th pain have order that done their job and they come with everything you need to maintain them.as far as the volume control and other features I found it little confused when I read and saw what I had to do but it actually was not that hard believe me when I say that these aids work very well for the money.and if anyone says otherwise then it is obvious they have never been 70 percent deaf in one ear and close to the same in the other ear.and now I'm able to hear better than my wife .so now I have perfect teeth and very good hearing.so now all I need is a taste buds transplant.again you can put your trust and money into this aid and not be disappointed......A+++++++

Great Seller
Great hearing aid for the money. Very small which is good. A little challenging to control volume because of size but still great for the size

The company described the product perfectly.
It’s small, it works as described and I love having my hearing back!Thank you.The volume and mode control is the same button. That’s a bit annoying. As described the button is VERY small heed the notice put out by the company.

Can you hear me now? YES!!!
I've ordered hearing amplifiers for my elderly mom for a decade. This one is BY FAR the BEST! If your loved one can't hear you and you're tired of *feeling* angry because you're always shouting, buy this and shove it in their ear -- voila! And CHEAP!!It goes through batteries pretty quickly, but they're cheap. I have no idea if the "noise cancellation" aspect works or not, she can't describe it, but she can hear me so I don't care. I gave that part 4 stars because of the "featured review" by the musician. He seems to think it works in that way. (His review was exactly why I decided to try yet another one, and boy am I glad I did.)None I've tried stay in the ear as well as this one. It's shaped better than ALL others PLUS it has a little puller thingie to get it out. It hasn't fallen out yet! When acting as a caregiver for an elder, this kind of stuff matters... most of them are around $150 and we've probably lost 3 of them along the way from randomly falling out -- one of which was found in the garbage disposal! The VOLUME function STINKS!! They should fix this. It's a TINY button -- not even a button, really, more like a NUB that can be accidentally pushed when inserting it in the ear (at least I think that's what the elder is doing). Plus, when it's in the ear, it's VERY hard for the caregiver to hear it beeping to indicate the nub has been pushed. Worse though is that it's a toggle instead of UP and DOWN, so as you push, the volume goes down, down, down, and then from the bottom is circles back up to the top. This is REALLY hard for elders to understand and even harder for a caregiver to deal with. Fix that, and you've got 10 stars.Overall, GREAT device!
