Cutting fabric

Not sure what is wrong with this scissors, but it is so hard to open and close. I got a horrible blister from using. Unfortunately I can’t send back.

I am using these scissors to cut out masks and it for sure is not easy to do with these shears. They are extremely stiff. I am cutting 2 layers of fabric and it takes me 3 times as long to cut out 1 mask vs. regular scissors. My had cramps after cutting only 2 or 3 masks before I have to take a break for my hand. I am hoping after continued use they will loosen up a bit. But has not as of yet.Fiskar is normally a good brand, but I have had 2 bad pairs of from them in the past year. Not sure I will make this mistake a 3rd time.

A good price an easy to use

Not sure where these items are being stored. But I am tending to believe these are rejects from other stores. The cardboard is creased. The plastic is pulled away from the card. The handle has a small defect. Now of course I will be using the pinkers over time , therefore: I can not judge how well they will do or if the handle will deteriorate after using. Fiskers are reputable scissors. The vendors should be made to sell pristine items as if they were dealing with the buyer face to face. I am giving this an average rating because only time will tell.

Cut well, easy to use since I have some arthritis in my hands and fingers.

I remember my mother's old, black-handled pinking sheers. They didn't cut very well. So, even though I wanted these, I admit I wasn't expecting a whole lot. What a pleasant surprise! They don't feel clunky and heavy in my hand. What's even better, they cut like a dream. They make a clean, easy cut all the way to the tip. So far I've only used them on double layers of flannel. I'm glad I bought them.

Picking shears have always been difficult for my to use. And now with arthritis in both hands, it’s hard for me to use them. But they are good shears just very difficult for me to use
