Stain Devil: Fat, Oil & Sauces/Ketchup remover (50ml / 1.7fl oz Bottle)

Saved my sweater!! I tried so many products and detergents trying to get out a huge oil stain that had been dried and set in multiple times. Everything from letting Mrs meyers soap sit on it to Dr bronners, tide and vinegar. Nothing could get it out. I’m so happy I took a chance on this. I wish the bottle was bigger for the price but 8 bucks beats having to buy a new 50 dollar sweat shirt! Pictures below to show the morning before wash and night by the time it was finished

I went to eat at a Mexican restaurant a few weeks ago and had some pork fajitas. They were slightly greasy and when a piece fell into my lap, it left an oil splat on my dress. For reference, it is 100% viscose. I pretty much immediately assumed it was ruined for good, but I love this dress and get tons of compliments on it, so I decided to try various cleaning methods. I first tried washing it like normal a few times, which was probably not a great idea. Then I tried soaking it in vinegar for a few hours, which did nothing. I tried other things like scrubbing just the spots with laundry soap, baking soda, salt, nothing removed them. I was about to give up but read about this product on Reddit and decided to try it. When I got it, I decided to NOT patch test the product because if it didn't work, I would not be wearing the dress out again anyway. So aside from that I followed the directions and when it came out of the dryer, I could tell it was much fainter, but still noticeable to the eye. I tried a second round immediately, but this time I let the cleaner set for 20 minutes and scrubbed the spots with a washcloth before rewashing. After this, I can't find the spots anymore. I keep looking but they are gone. I almost can't believe it. I've had so many clothes ruined this way and I'm happy to finally have a solution! I will definitely repurchase this when I inevitably need more.

3 stars is perhaps too tough. Really works extremely well...better than anything else really. But hard to use Very granular like sand, and requires that you put it on the spot, then add drops of water and rub it around a while. It can eliminate stains I bought it for even on white, but it pushes a little bit of the stain to edge border with dry cloth - so have to put some water outside the area as well. But in my experience, nothing works as wel.

I first started using this product when we lived in Germany. I brought some back with me but when I ran out I just figured I’d use something from here. Well- I was wrong, this stuff is the best. It finally dawned on me that I could probably order this on amazon! It took the oil out of a shirt that I had tried everything else on. If you can get it on the oil stain fairly quickly, (as opposed to the stain sitting for a long time) it’s best. But if it doesn’t work the first time, try again. It will come out ! It is a tad pricey for the small bottle but worth it. I only use it on oil stains so it lasts me a little while.

First time ever that years old stains came out completely. First time ever that product works as described without any commercial seen on media. Definitely a small but mighty helper in our household. Worth the money.

Omg, I’m impressed!!! I had a few pairs of scrubs with oil stains and thought “here we go, I have to buy new sets of scrubs again”. Looked up online once again if I could find something for oil stains removal after trying everything I found on Dr. Google. Came across this item and, BINGO! IT WORKS even if the clothing had been washed!!! I’m thinking to get it for all my family members as a stocking item for Christmas!

Für den geringen Preis funktioniert es gut. Anbei ein Bild wobei der linke Schuh im Bild mit dem Produkt behandelt wurde und der andere nicht, man sieht schon einen Unterschied. Für die nicht wascherfahrenen (wie mich): Ich habe eine Handbürste für das Produkt verwendet und es dann in den Schuh gerieben. Das hat nicht wirklich funktioniert. Man muss ein wenig Produkt auf die zu säubernde Oberfläche auftragen und dann die Bürste unter Wasser halten und dann reinigen, das funktioniert dann wunderbar! Vielleicht steht es auch in der Anleitung, aber ich bin Ingenieur und lese keine Anleitungen. 😉

Ya conocia este producto. Quita las manchas de grasa solo aplicandolo encima de ellas y metiendo la prenda en la lavadora. No corroe los colores.

Ne bastano poche gocce, rimuove le macchie benissimo e velocemente. Ho provato quello per le macchie di olio e salse su una macchia di cioccolato e l’ha rimossa bene. Lo ricomprerei.
