Great for hot Florida weather. It is very easy to set up. Keeps the car cool when is 100 degree outside.

So, originally I thought this thing was amazing. Then I came out and noticed that the first issue was that the collapsible frame buckled and no longer was holding up the frame. It was literally slammed down on my hood. Had it hailed this thing would have been totally ineffective. I assume it was the wind that caused it to buckle, which was later confirmed when the wind (not even that heavy a wind) caught it ripped it completely off my truck and cracked the framework that holds the canopy that protects the vehicle. So this investment ended up being a total bust. I bought this one because a invested in a different brand and it did the same thing. This product and design is not at all what it advertises. I have resorted to an improvised tent pole set up that I configured to be able to be able to put up and take down quickly. But I will never buy one of these type of quick set up deals...the design material is not at all as strong as it seems. A least not strong enough for the winds where I live. That was clearly evident when it cracked under the pressure of the wind

Take too much time to tie it right and taken off the tie down plus it cannot take high wind also the top mount to the roof of your vehicle doesn’t stick on too long... Honestly I think is too over price with all this complicate issue I have..

Despite the manufacturer claiming that the tent snaps will disengage from the frame in high wind, this is not the case. When mine faced a wind test (only the third time I used it, which was last week), the plastic frame snapped in two places. And, of course, having bought it in early October, the window for a return closed in mid-November ( before I even used it for the first time). So now I am S.O.L. This concept may work in parts of the country where it isn’t stormy or windy, but the frame will break under strong wind conditions. Amazon, you really need to re-evaluate your return policies and time frames for marketplace purchases. I’m only leaving 1 star because the Amazon review system won’t let me leave a zero.
