40V Lithium-ION 4.0 AH Battery

Works great with my lawn mower. But I have a very small lawn.

This 4Ah battery is pretty expensive, equal to their previous 5Ah battery. And there's 6Ah batteries for the same price as this 4Ah one that last a little longer. (I got it for $135) And this thing seems overly-sensitive to the temperature. It will not let you charge until it is fully, fully, at room temperature. Which usually takes about 5 hours after mowing. While the 6Ah knockoff battery is ready to charge after only an hour or two of cooldown. I realize it's to lengthen the life of the battery, but I honestly didn't realize this was 4Ah instead of the original 5Ah it came with, so I feel kind of unhappy about the downsizing while keeping the price the same, and slowing down how frequently it can be recharged. Just feels like a step backward. If this 4Ah battery were like $90 then it would be worth it. However I'm sure the stringent temperature controls will make the Li-ion battery last longer, so I get it. It's just kind of finicky, and honestly I'll be buying the 6Ah knockoffs from now on, which cost less and after a year still last about as long as this brand new 4Ah battery. Overall very happy with the Ryobi brand, but this specific battery isn't their best product.

Replacement battery for leaf blower. Cheaper than Home Depot. Works perfectly easy to install. Charges upquickly.

I had ordered the 40V 4.0Ah battery, and it worked out of the package. Because it was February, I didn't need to use it right away. Unfortunately, it wouldn't charge, and I wasn't aware of the problem until after the 30 day return policy. I wrote the vendor, and explained what happened, and they replaced it at no charge to me. I've been using the blower and trimmer with this battery since then, and it works perfectly. Things go wrong at times with everyone, but what a vendor does to fix it is what makes a company good or not. I would not hesitate to buy from this company again!

Delivered before expected date, very grateful for this. Easy to charge and can feel the power of the battery when its working. For now I have used it twice and did not have to recharge while in use. I have a large area to trim so I was pleased for now. Longevity & Battery Life will depend how I care for the battery. All in all, very pleased with the results.

This was an older purchase so this review is based on extensive use. This battery powers my Lawnmower. The Mower came with 2 2ahr batteries that lasted about 5 years before degrading to such an extent that they would not work in the mower anymore so I needed a replacement. This battery is a replacement. This battery is so much more powerful and longer lasting. I can cut my whole lawn with a singe battery where it took both 2ahr batteries before. If you need a 40v battery than I would recommend you obtain this kind.

Amazon will NOT stand behind this item. This battery lasted me for 5 months (approximately 10 mows) and will NOT recharge . Amazon does NOT stand behind this seller (Phanton Intl.) Contacted Phanton and they do not respond. DONT BUT THIS ITEM!!!
