I saw several queries on Amazon as to whether these would fit various ceiling fans. As far as I know my fans have the same size globe holders as everybody else's, and they are also the same size as the globe holders in my last five houses, so I can't imagine there would be a problem.These things are solid, well-built and beautiful. For a small price, I really upped the impact of my builder-basic ceiling unit. Took less than five minutes to unscrew the old and screw in the new. And -- very important from my point of view -- these are really packed well. I accidentally dropped the unopened box from the top of a stepladder onto a hard vinyl-over-concrete floor. They are cusioned with two layers of thick styrofoam. Don't think you need to worry about shipping damage.

My husband and I have decided to put all of our "spending cash" toward updating our home since we are unable to really use that for going out to dinner, dancing, drinks, or fun day trips/camping because of the pandemic. I finally ended up breaking our incredibly fragile sconce globes on either side of our mantle-- ugly frosted things original to our house built in 1970. I wanted to find replacements that we could afford but also have the quality and uniquess I wanted to fit our decor. These arrived very well packaged, in foam fitted to the sconces so there was no room for breakage while shipping. They ARE glass (I wondered if they would be because another reviewer reported she thought they were some sort of plastic). Like another reviewer mentioned-- they are not perfectly "leaded" however, they are well made, thick, sturdy, lightweight (average weight for an item like this) and I am absolutely in love with them. They are gorgeous. The fact that they are not perfect proves they were handmade and I love buying items that no one else will ever have an exact replica of. For myself, they aren't just pretty tiffinay inspired sconces, they are art pieces. I can't believe I found such an incredible buy on Amazon when the plain glass replacement sconces cost twice as much! I hardly ever leave reviews on Amazon because I just don't have the time but I was so impressed by these that I felt inclined.

Fit and finish a bit rough on close inspection but attractive at the distance you typically see them from and solidly made. A good buy.

They look okay on the fixture, but are cheaply made. I don’t really care, they look good from where you stand. No one is going on a ladder to seethe paint flake off with a fingertip.

Why buy a new light fixture when you can change out your old shades with these and you have a high end looking fixture for a fraction of the price of a new fixture

Very pretty and great price for a two pack! My bathroom is very outdated and has this antique medicine cabinet, and it used to have clear glass light covers that the bulbs blinded you while trying to look in the mirror etc 😅 so now the light covers look great and match the old style too

I bought this to replace an outdated glass shade. The glass shade I was replacing had a fitter of 1 5/8 so I assumed it would fit. It did not it was too big. They are definitely beautiful but does not fit the sconce.
