i bought mobil 0x20 full synthetic annual for my truck,will this filter last a year or 20.000 miles

Do not run any motor idc what they claim for more than 4k miles without changing the oil and the filter at the same time! Pray your motor don’t blow up.

My filter came with no plastic wrap or cover over the seal. Is this normal?

no ! is not normal it should have like a plastic cover to protect the seal...…..l have one before just like you said and when l tnstalled after a month it came loose and leaks a little l am glad l see the trace of oil in the ground.....since then l never used this filter and l will not going to used ever this king of filter stayed the original.....
