RB2140 Original Wayfarer Square Sunglasses

These are truly wonderful sunglasses — classic, stylish, and built with excellent craftsmanship. The construction feels solid and premium, just what you’d expect from Ray-Ban. The lenses provide crisp, clear vision with great sun protection, and the frame has that iconic look that never goes out of style. One small thing to note is that because of the lens angle and snug fit, you may notice temporary line indentations on your cheeks after wearing them for a while. It’s nothing major and just part of the classic Wayfarer design. The glossy finish on the frames also tends to pick up smudges and fingerprints pretty easily, but that’s expected with this type of material — a quick wipe and they’re good as new. Overall, these sunglasses are top-notch in quality, comfort, and appearance. They’re worth every penny and a timeless addition to any collection.

I bought these sunglasses as a replacement for Ray-Bans that I had bought in 2010. The first pair I bought was from Sunglass Hut--original Wayfarers with tortoiseshell frames and green lenses--they ran me $150 there. In the fall of 2013, I misplaced the sunglasses, and had always planned to replace them, but just now got around to it. I was going to go back into Sunglass Hut and repurchase the same pair, but a friend clued me in to this deal on Amazon. Seeing as how they are about $60 cheaper, I decided to go with these. They seem to be exactly the same as my other previous pair of Ray-Bans...they say that they are made in Italy, have the Ray-Ban inscription on the lenses and on each arm, as well as the "RB" etched into the other lens. They feel weighty and sturdy, clearly have the metal bar within the plastic arm for support, and have a 4 stacked barrel hinge on each arm where it folds. It came in a box that looked exactly the same as my old one (I compared) and had the leather case with the cleaning cloth just like my other one. As far as I can tell, these ARE real Ray-Bans. If they aren't, though...they're clearly STILL quality sunglasses that you're STILL paying a lot of money for, so who really gives a damn? As for technicalities, delivery was quick as always. Loved that it qualified for free shipping. As for sizing, I feel as though I have a pretty big head, and I still bought the 50mm size. Fits well, like sunglasses should. Overall, a very good purchase!

For $190, I expected new Ray-Bans. What arrived was used. There was makeup on the nose bridge, scratches on the lenses and arms, and the overall quality was disappointing. Compared to Ray-Bans I’ve purchased directly, these felt unusually light and didn’t have the same premium feel. This was not the experience I expected when ordering a name-brand product at this price point. Returned immediately.

Óculos lindíssimo e de excelente qualidade, como esperado de um RayBan. Infelizmente o tamanho 54, ficou grande no meu rosto então estou na dúvida se eu vou ficar com ele. Meu rosto é pequeno, esse tamanho 54, é mais indicado para rostos médios e grandes. Mas o preço estava tão bom, que não me atentei na hora que comprei. Peguei numa promo, a qual era vendido e entregue pela própria Amazon, por um preço quase 60% abaixo do valor no site da marca. Realmente um achado! Chegou muito rápido, sem nenhum arranhão. Somente a caixa de papel do óculos, que veio um pouco amassada o que para mim não fez diferença, pois o produto estava em perfeito estado. Estou viciada em comprar na Amazon!

Got these and they are perfect! This is exactly the model I wanted. The fit is great, they look super stylish, and the quality is exactly what you would expect from Ray-Ban. Couldn't be happier.

Tutto bene, come mi aspettavo, non è la prima volta che prendo un paio di Ray-Ban da questo venditore, la scatola arriva un pò ammaccata ma gli occhiali e custodia sono integri e soprattutto originali, da migliorare l'integrità della confezione se si deve fare un regalo e i tempi di spedizione (10 giorni sono un bel pò)
