These pepperoni beef sticks are excellent. Lean, flavorful, firm, and with a bit of spice. Since I can never find the old fashioned dry pepperoni sticks that the bars had just hanging around in the '50s and '60s, I have to go with the Link's. Low/no sugar, carbs, or trans fats, these meaty little wonders are my go-to snack. Just as importantly, the Link's Pepperoni Beef sticks list ingredients that DO NOT include "beef hearts", that junk that you often find in other meat sticks. Well recommended.

These are the best I've found, and they are hard to come by at a store. I order periodically from Amazon, because it is currently the only way I can get them. 4/5 Due to the fact that every once in a while one will taste "off" (or a whole package will), but I think this just comes with having an animal based product.

Every time I stop by a gas station or liquor store and see those jerky sticks sitting in those plastic bins near the cash register, I want to buy one. Occasionally I will buy one and every time I do, I totally regret it because they're old, dry and disgusting. I definitely do not regret buying a 3-pack of these though. It's not as spicy as I would've preferred, but it's got a mild kick and plenty of that saltiness you'd expect from beef pepperoni sticks. In each bag is a single row of jerky sticks, 9 of them. It seems to be sealed airtight, and there's a slight film of oil over the jerky (presumably to reduce contact with air). Not nearly as greasy as a Slim Jim though. Just wipe your fingers before typing on the keyboard again. Package says to consume within 3 days after opening or otherwise store the rest in the fridge.

Boy, do the reviews on this product suck. It took me forever to actually decide on these things, so I swore to myself that I would actually help you guys out once I got them. Overall, these snacks are alright, but probably not something I'll order again. They definitely have a pepperoni flavor, so if you're expecting something else then you might want to look elsewhere. They're slightly on the tender side, and a bit oily. Nothing too horrible, but you're probably going to need to wipe your fingers after handling them. The texture is similar to a Slim Jim, but the flavor is very different. It tastes like natural spices, not like pepperoni "flavor" or something. There is a bit of an aftertaste that I don't particularly care for, but it's not bad enough to make me hate them. The casing is natural, so there's a bit of snap when you bite into them. These are a bit spicy. They're not going to melt your face off, but they're slightly spicy. After chewing for a couple of seconds, there's a small bite to them on your tongue, and then it goes away. Kind of like mild red pepper you would put on your pizza, but not much. I like the spiciness. I'm amazed when people complain about spiciness when they bought a "pepperoni" product. These are fine unless you're one of those heathens that can barely handle black pepper on your food. Overall, these are decent. I've definitely had better pepperoni, and I've had better jerky. Costco has some jerky links that have better flavor, in my opinion. Still, if you're craving some pepperoni snacks, these really aren't a bad option. You can get better pepperoni out there, but at least these are convenient.
