Dimensions Sunlit Fox Counted Cross Stitch Kit, 14 Count Black Aida, 14'' x 11''

Loved doing this. No complaints but I was surprised how much harder black clothe was to work with. But I love difficult kits

I am about halfway through to completing this cross stitch project and just love how it coming along. The chart is very clear and easy to follow. The black aida is a challenge to stitch on, but with good lighting and a magnifying lens, it's really not a problem. So far, I have not run short of floss that was included in the kit. It would be nice if Dimensions included the DMC floss numbers with the chart, in case more floss is needed, because stitching mistakes do happen and then you run short.

First off all of the black floss was missing from the kit. I’ll have to purchase this separately. If it was intentionally left out then that would just be tacky and unfinished. 2nd the grid pattern is not printed on the fabric. Just know this if you were expecting a grid pattern to keep everything organized. Lastly the fabric is black so it is very hard to see the spaces. The black fabric may make for a better choice when competed but to work with it makes things very hard. I’ve never done cross stitch before but I’m no stranger to embroidery, I thought this would be fun. Well let’s just say it feels like I’m starting at expert level. I don’t recommend to beginners.

I absolutely love this pattern etc. My complaint is that the fabric is black and it is very hard to see the holes in the fabric due to their very small size. It would be much better to see if the count size was bigger so the holes (squares) were smaller. Using it I have to have super bright lighting to work under or be near.

I like the product a lot. My kit originally was missing half the thread, so make sure to check before you start the project.

This kit is beautiful. It's taking me a long time to finish it because of the black fabric. This is my first time doing cross stitch on black, and I do not like it and will not do one on black fabric again. However, the kit is great and the threads are nice and sturdy. Great kit for experienced cross stitcher who likes using black background.

I bought this as a birthday present, but that isn’t until June, so I will have to wait and see how it turns out. But, it is a unique cross stitch subject. Which is what I was looking for.

I have bought this to do as a gift for some friends called Fox and am very pleased with it. I have not worked on black aida before but am not having any difficulty. The use of two three or four threads, blended colours and single and cross stitches is new to me but is proving very effective. As it is for a Xmas present I have plenty of time to do it. The chart and instructions are very clear and the colours are lovely. I have not done a "Dimensions" kit before but based on this one will look for more.

This is a stunning set and has everything you need. Not recommended for beginners, but a lovely project for a slightly more experienced cross-stitcher.
