Rubschlager Bread, Rye, 16-ounces (Pack of6)

It remains a mystery why the product, once it is delivered, is not packaged as advertised . Instead, it comes with a purple label.I have not been able to determine if the purple label product is identical with the one that appears on the Amazon website.The package comes with an information flyer, including telephone numbers to call. The problem is, that with several attempts, I only reached answering machines.I hope that my comment here leads to clarification.

they come 6 in an order - when I am down to 3, I reorder.... don't want to be without - my son also likes this wonderful tasting bread!!!

I have searched all over for a bread like this! It is extremely tasty, nutritious, and altogether enjoyable with breakfast or any kind of meal!

I can't believe it....Rubschlager, for some unknown reason that defies the purpose of all health conscious buyers who normally would buy a bread like this - have started adding corn syrup solids to their bread. Why? It's unbelievable...Their audience is obviously a health conscious audience. Why would you start adding a sweetener - and particularly a corn syrup sweetener to a bread aimed at this audience? Somebody in their company has absolutely no idea about who their audience is...and it will show in sales numbers, I can guarantee it....They just lost me as a customer.

my favorite bread, grew up on it in Denmark.

it is a bit expensive, but, we like it for many years and since it is no longer available at PUBLIX or anywhere else, we hope we can keep on buying it here.

the bread was crumbly and to me did not taste good at all. I am a fan of rye bread, but this product to me was not worth the money

This is authentic german black bread.My grocer stopped carrying it so I started ordering the bread online.
