Dimensions Needlecrafts Crewel, Oriental Splendor

This is a crewel embroidery kit. It was as advertise. Easy and quick to order and arrived on time. Cannot wait to start this kit, it will be beautiful.

I had it framed and it is hanging in my entry hall. Much admired by all.

The product is as advertised my only complaint is about Dimensions method or a diagram explaination of the stiches over a faded background picture. It would have been much more helpful if the picture in the background had been darker, also the picture on the front is not large enough to really explain the questions I ran into. I tried to enlarge ..it did not help. Dimensions gives a good quality product and I will purchase again.

Not as advertised! Only a tenth of this lovely image is “white” to fill in with stitches. Very disappointing. I’m going to cover the entire printed image with yarn and buy extra to make it to my satisfaction! K

This is the second one I am doing. Oi t is just beautiful! I have bought my own threads to embroider more flowers.

There is only a small area to apply stitching to. 90% of the product is a picture. Seller does not refund 100% and charged shipping costs to return.

Beautiful colors and original design. Very different crewel/embroidery kit.

I won a couple of ribbons at the county and state fair. These kits are great. I have embroidered several of this style.

C'est un kit très joli mais il y peu de choses à broder ce qui, pour ma part, est dommage. Bien sûr, la toile est déjà imprimée et ne doit en aucun cas être lavée après l'avoir brodée : le fond s'effacerait. Il y a toutes sortes de fils : en coton, en acrylique, en laine en métal. Personnellement je vais la même de côté pour le moment car j'ai d'autres projets. Attention il ne s'agit pas de faire des points de croix mais de la broderie traditionnelle (point de tige, de noeuds, lancés.. etc.) car le tissu est un lin. Je tenterai de broder tout le tableau au point de croix même si celles-ci seront très petites. Le résultat pourrait être stupéfiant (c'est à voir) de plus je n'utiliserai que des fils en coton et ceux métallisés.Même si je ne m'attendais pas tout à fait à ce genre de kit, je lui attribue 5 étoiles car il les mérite tout de même. Il est très joli à regarder.
