Lovely stamp image, one of my favs from Julie Nutting.
This is my favorite Julie Nutting stamp from the latest CHA new release from her mixed media doll product line. I saw a card made with this stamp using "paper piecing" for the dress and it was super cute. It was so hard to find so it took me a long time to finally get access to this in order to be able to buy it. Unfortunately it arrived damaged but Amazon has agreed to replace it at no cost to me. They have even scheduled a UPS pick up directly to me home so I don't need to drive this to a UPS drop off location. I didn't even need to print out a return label, just a return confirmation letter inside the shipping box. This is a very tall doll and the width of her dress is quite wide. The only thing I really didn't like was the hat stamp that it came with which I think is pretty much unusable. It was a minor issue for me but it would have been nice if it had come with a hat that actually worked with the design of the dress. There are two stamp sets with just stamps that I do own but none of them seemed appropriate for this doll in particular. Since her hair style is really cute, it doesn't really need a hat. I also bought the Peachy Keen "bridal" face stamps to use with this doll. I know that Julie has a set of face stamps that she created for Prima that are currently for sale at the time I am posting this review but I thought the Peachy Keen faces were much better.
