To test leakage, I put boiling water in and aggressively shook sideways, upside down, etc.... No leakage. The pressure of intense heat can cause the lid to be difficult to remove though, but ordinarily you wouldn't be opening it right after filling with extremely hot liquids.Pros:*Easy Clean, nicely polished inside.*Doesn't leak (make sure lid is seated properly)*Wide like a bowl, plenty of room.*Is fairly well insulated. You need to be realistic about how well something with this much surface area can retain heat/cold for.*Looks coolCons:*Would prefer it didn't require the dish inside to seal - The internal dish is what has the gasket.*Insulation could be better (feel like maybe the internal vacuum isn't that strong)*Handle is plastic, not metal BUT is strong, so shouldn't break for a long while hopefully.Overall 5/5 despite a few cons. I don't expect the alternatives would be any better in those area.s

I bought this product to bring lunch with me everyday, hoping it would keep my food hot from when I heat it up in the morning. I usually seal the lunch box around 8am and eat lunch at 12pm, but by the time I open it, the food is already cold. Either this is a faulty product or it's false advertising.

PORTION WISE IS A GOOD SIZE FOR AN ADULT, AND IT KEEPS FOOD WARM, IS EASY TO CLEAN AND LOOKS GREAT.iT'S BIG DRAWBACK - YOU HAVE TO HAVE LARGE HANDS TO OPEN IT, AND A COUPLE OF TIMES WE HAVE HAD TO HAVE 2 PEOPLE , ONE TO TWIST THE HANDLE AND THE OTHER TO HOLD THE BOTTOM. tHE SUCTION WAS AMAZING, BUT THE IDEA IS TO ACTUALLY EAT THE FOOD INSIDE.....

I was really excited to use this lunchbox. Loved the design. Unfortunately, I have to return this. It does not keep food or liquids hot/warm. I tested it with boiling hot water, closed it properly, left it for 4-5 hours, opened it, the water was cold. It wasn’t even warm. Great concept, poor execution. Also, it is tough to open and close it. No grip on the exterior.

I ordered this insulated food container because it was advertised as "leakproof". After receiving it, I did a quick check to see if it would not leak liquids. I filled the upper compartment with water and screwed on the lid. After turning it on its side water started to dribble out. I did the same test with the lower compartment and got the same results.Obviously I was dissapointed and was getting ready to return the product. By chance, I took a second look at the silicone rubber gasket and after a careful inspection, I noticed it looked like it was installed upside down. I removed the gasket and re-installed it right side up and ran the same test. This time NO LEAKS.Its hard to tell which feature to look for so I included a couple pictures. There are several tiny raised dots on the gasket that prevent an air tight seal with the lower container. When I reversed the gasket the raised dots faced UP.I don't know if thats supposed to be the correct orientation of the gasket, but I can say it does not leak when installed this way.

You really don't want these...the lunch gets cold and they are hand wash only - even condensation collects inside of them.

I really loved this thermal insulated container. It seals tightly and don't let air inside. It keeps the product at the same temperature for several hours.I use this vacuum container to take meal to the work every day. Great design. Easy to carry. Have 1 more plate inside, so that you can take salad or fruit or anything else in the same pot.Very high quality for the price. Many thanks!
