Didn't cut as well as I hoped.
I had to cut the artificial turf to go around obstacles in the yard, and this knife didn't work so well for that. I ended up just using a small steak knife which worked so much better at cutting it around the obstacles in the yard. It ended up as a waste of money unfortunately, and only used the kitchen steak knife. Save your money and just use a common steak knife instead. I was generous and gave it a three star rating.

Quality tool - you'll still need a razor knife for precision cuts
I believe this knife was originally made for cutting real grass (sod). It is incredible for that purpose. On artificial turf, it is useful for some cutting - but not all. There is no substitute for a razor knife and a fresh blade, especially when preparing seams. Turf is extremely tough stuff and I recommend changing the razor blade every 15 feet of cut turf. This knife is useful for rough cuts where speed of cut is fast and accuracy is secondary. But a very well-made tool and good for sod, cutting sprinklers, etc.

Works Great!!
Really pleased with this Keyfit synthetic turf knife. I have synthetic turf on my patio. I have had it for 18 years and under the southwest sun. The pathway where I come in the back gate was worn through in several places. I decided to cut back the turf along the path for now until I can afford to replace the turf. The blade was sharp enough to slice through the turf and I was able to cut and tear a large portion off. I am in my seventies and not the strongest person anymore but I had no trouble using this turf knife and plenty sharp enough to do the job. Great product!
