Five stars!
This review is for the waspinator 3-pack wasp repeller.PROS:• natural way to keep wasps away, without pesticides. • hang it from a gardening "shepherd's hook", and you're good to go.• I utilize next to the patio, and another one next to my shed door.• stuff it with plastic grocery bags!CONS (that I don't deduct points for):• it's a little pricey, yet well worth your money.• it's not indestructible to the weather, yet there isn't anything else that's durable enough that works for me.• anything that hangs outside 24/7 in the sun, rain, and wind is going to degrade over time. I usually get two or three years out of each one that is outside (unprotected) from the elements.• the original product is not easy to find, so stock up ahead of time. I do and I never regret it.• I've only found the three packs of waspinators. It would be nice if they sell them individually... Yet if you think you're going to buy "only one", YOU'LL EVENTUALLY COME TO THE REALITY THAT you'll REALLY need to buy more than one. 👍👍FYI:• I utilize a large metal office binder clip (10 pack available at the dollar store). I clamp it at the bottom to additionally seal the opening shut. This prevents insects from inhabiting the interior of the laspinator.• yes, you will see the occasional wasp on a casual exploratory mission, yet they don't linger around or make a nest. This product works!• ground wasps (the quick spastic looking ones that look like they've had too much red bull to drink) want me to turn, yet they are few and far between in my local, and are more individualistic (solo dwellers) in nature.• I purchased it for wasps that make hanging wasp nests, If you're trying to use it for hornets, bees or ground wasps that have their nests in the ground... The waspinator ain't for you!

No wasps noticed tet
After reading the reviews, I purchased this but still skeptical. By now I would've had noticed many wasps flying. In fact, so many that wouldn't want to sit out on our deck. So far, NO WASPS NOTICED! Crazy but so happy!

Total trash
Once upon a time "Waspinator" was a great product. They were made of a sturdy, heavy FABRIC, with a hanging loop that was super well attached. I'd buy a 3 pack for around $18., fill them with bags, etc, hang them up, & they would last for several YEARS, (in South Florida, were they stood up like champs to all elements, i.e. rain/winds/tropical storms, etc.). Last package of 3 that I purchased was outrageously overpriced at $36.94, but even more outrageous was the total deterioration/decline of quality in this product. The first of the 3 broke off at the loop, leaving a gaping hole on the top, (as it took a big chunk of the body with it), & blew in to the neighbor's yard during a light rainstorm. (Maybe a month after putting them up). The second & 3rd ones (few weeks later) both let go at the loop & were torn apart on the sides, all the "stuffing material" spilling out. Full of tears, it was easy to see & feel that the once "fabric" bodies were now made of a sort of woven PAPER material. SO - lets double the price, lower the quality of the materials & workmanship, sell it as if it were the same as the original - & hope nobody notices? As a former fan of this product, I'm totally disgusted. I couldn't even attempt to repair (sew) the loops back on or the tears closed, because, as I mentioned already, these are made of some sort of paper. I will not ever purchase these again. Total waste of money:(

Effective, but fall apart after a year
Pro: They do seem to keep the wasps from settling in on our porch.Con: They seem to last about a year before they sun rot and the fabric starts to split. I paid $34 for a 3 pack 2 years ago and I just hung up the 3rd today. Hopefully it lasts.Overall: They are effective. I just wish they lasted longer.

So far so good
I have had this up just a few days now and there are almost no wasps in site when just last week three got into my house. I did read that it’s important to get it up early spring before the wasps have a nest built which I think is key! The real test will be once it’s consistently warmer out but for now I am a happy customer and high recommend. Just don’t delay in putting it out there!

Adieu les guepes!
These work very well at preventing wasps and hornets from placing their nests nearby. I purchased about 3 of these 2 years ago and they work so well I bought several more for my mother's home. We used to get loads of paper wasp nests and bald faced hornet nests around our deck and porch (under eaves, under the flooring, under handrails, etc.) and they were a real nuisance. I used to spray them after they showed up. After having a huge hornets nests threatening my toddlers, I decided I needed to be proactive and prevent them from nesting rather than fighting with them after they set up their nest. The Waspinator did the trick. We have not had a single wasp nest on our property since using them. No more sprays.Holds up fairly well in wind and rain. In New England, I bring them in for Winter and put them back out in April to prevent nests. I stuff plastic shopping bags inside them so that they maintain their shape better. The handle on the top is inadequate and rips easily. It is not difficult to remedy this with a safety pin or nail.I recommend highly.

Pretty Effective Wasp Deterrent
Been using these for years and overall they are pretty effective. My wife has serious allergy issues with wasps so anything we cando to minimize exposure to them is a bonus. A couple of suggestions....use bubble wrap to fill the bag as it totally fills it making it look more natural adding no weight to the bag itself.....and reinforce the hanger on it with additional stitching as it can be quite flimsy and in a decent wind you may have to go looking for it around yours or your neighbours yard. They’ll only last for a few years if in the sun as they will start to fall apart....be sure to take them down for the winter and put them back up in the spring. Just ordered another 3 pack as the ones we have are pretty much done.
