Ringside Ringside Leather Heavy Bag

Got this to cover an old heavy bag that had the hanger straps rot off. The old bag slid in no problem. Looks like it should hold up well. Leather is heavy duty, much nicer than my old cloth bag. You could also fill it with your own stuffing.

Just looking at this out of the package, for the price I paid, I can't believe the quality of this bag. (I got a lower price because it's red instead of black...go figure?)The sides and the chain loops are heavy leather. Sturdy stitching, The ends are heavy vinyl, and the top is actually vented, which is awesome, so moisture doesn't get trapped and whatever you fill it with doesn't get all mildewy.The hardware is heavy duty, and the chains are attached to a swivel. All you need is your ceiling hanger, and you're in business. I plan to line this with something soft (an old blanket or a sheet of foam) and fill it with rubber mulch. I will update this review once it's in use.

High quality at a good price

Its great if you are willing to spend the time to fill it with rags or other soft material. I do however wish that it was larger so more mass could be filled into it without having to add artificial weight like a sand core.

This is really well made! Everything is triple stitched and reenforced. It was a bit of a learning involved on how and what to fill this sucker with, but was worth the time to learn. Don't be dumb just look it up and don't fill the whole friggin thing with sand. Hands down my favorite part of the workout, zero buyers remorse!

Total garbage. It's only leather around the middle. The top and bottom are vinyl. In addition to the description being an outright lie, it's just embarrassingly cheap. Just complete garbage.

The only part that is not leather is the zipper cover at top. I’m alright with that. Least expensive leather bag. Ringside. Great buy

Admittedly I’m a beginner but this bag is standing up to everything I’m dishing out. The real leather is particularly nice and will last forever. No issue with the fasteners or the supplied chains and rings. I had to secure my own ceiling mount, but once that was done, hanging the bag was easy, albeit a two person job.As with any unfilled bag, it will only be as good as the filling. Checked YouTube and found a number of suggestions. Settled on using 70 lbs of sand in seven, 10 lb ziplock bags interspersed with fibreglass insulation. Had to repackage once to get the hang of it, but now everything is working well. Total weight, including chains is just over 90 lbs. Would recommend.
