The Babymoon Pod is designed as a head support to help prevent Flat Head Syndrome (plagiocephaly) for babies from 0-6 months, and for neck support from 6-12 months. Its unique functionality allows it to be used as a head support or neck support by attaching or detaching the two arms. The two arms can be attached to make a head support by overlapping the ends of the right arm (Velcro arm) and the left arm. The Velcro under the right arm sticks to the white portion on the upper side of the left arm to create a secure attachment which prevents the head from falling through the opening. The circular opening of the pod cradles the back of the head while providing comfortable placement and optimal positioning. The length of the white portion allows the pod to be adjusted to various sizes. Neck Support - Recommended for 6 Months to 12 Months. Once the two arms are detached, the Velcro should be covered with the Peak-a-Boo cover located on the upper side of the right arm. The Peak-a-Boo cover is the self-fabric flap which should be turned inside out to hide the Velcro in order to avoid irritation to the skin. Babymoon Pod has been tested under a reasonable program of testing (including testing by a certified third-party laboratory where required) and the Babymoon Pod complies with all Federal and state consumer product safety rules, bans, standards or regulations applicable to the Babymoon Pod. Babymoon Pod size: 10" x 10" x 3" (can be adjusted smaller). Choice of Babymoon Pod covers in either minky soft 100% polyester or 100% cotton. Plain color covers are polyester; prints are 100% cotton.

that recommended this pillow
This pillow is so soft. I was using one of those foam Chinese made foam pillows that are supposed to prevent flat head but they didn't seem to be working. I kind of just scrolled through and didn't consider this pillow because i thought it was just a neck support thing for carseats. It wasn't until i was reading a blog online, that recommended this pillow, that i decided to give it a try. My daughter's head was not very flat but i was noticing it was getting lop sided because she preferred to sleep on a certain side. With this pillow her head does not touch the bed so it has helped a lot. I did notice after a while the cushioning in the pillow started being pushed more outward and so her head was able to touch the bed again. I was discouraged when i noticed this but after a quick wash and dry (with the dryer) the problem was fixed and the pillow fluffed right back up. I would recommend you wash if you notice this happening. Overall i am very pleased with this purchase and for me it was worth the money. She uses the pillow all night as she sleeps (I have no issues with her sliding off the pillow which is one of the issues i had with the foam pillow) and while in her bouncer during the day.

Every baby comes with round head.....let's keep it that way
It is deep enough in order to your baby to keep the head in the right position for at least the first three months (let's see what happens in the following months). I have bought some other alternatives but they are thinner so the back of your baby's head touch the mattress and finally some flat spot appears anyway. Do not trust your baby's head on these stuffs alone, the most important thing is to turn the head left and right while facing up as well as spend some time face down. The baby's head is extremely flexible from 0 to 6 months (for good and bad) and it starts to get harder from 6 in advance....so do the right thing at the beginning. If your baby has a very visible flat spot maybe you have to ask for medical treatment as soon as possible (the sooner the better), there is a procedure based on the use of a kind of plastic helmet (tailor made for your baby's head) that can revert the process. I did it with my first baby and it works.

Wonderful product
I wasn’t sure that I would like this pillow until I started using it. The support is great and takes the pressure off the back of the head. It’s great for the car seat and the bouncy seat. I love that it converts to a neck support pillow. My babe is big and the neck support really helps in the car so her head doesn’t flop down and restrict airflow. I recommend this pillow especially if your babies are prone to flat heads. Always a challenge the first few months to prevent this, but this pillow has helped a lot.

Fits in doc-a-tot & helped fix flat head
I bought this pillow because I noticed my 2 month old daughters head getting a little flat. I ordered a few but couldn’t find anything to fit into her doc-a-tot that she sleeps in at night. This fits perfectly and within two weeks her little head rounded out. She’s a good sleeper but it took about two days for her to get used to sleeping on it. Now she’s back to sleeping 7 hour stretches again. I’ve noticed that it does have some hair on it—but I think that’s normal for this age to lose some where they move their head! You can also use the pillow for tummy time! Overall very happy with my purchase!!

Still unsure about this item
I was the mom that was worried about flat head syndrome, especially for my little girl who I wanted to grow up with a perfectly shaped head. =)I purchased this pillow, after talking with my friend who recommended it. It's quite pricey for what it is but I figured how could i put a price on having a nice shaped head for my baby.As a small infant, I bought this when she was about 2 months old, She didn't like it very much and would wake up when we would put her on it. It took some time for her to get used to it. I only used it for about a month or two (until she could start rolling over) and I guess it helped the shape. I wasn't that great with making her do tummy time as a newborn, but eventually they get better at it and because I thought I didn't do enough tummy time, that probably added to me making the decision to get this pillow. The back of her head isn't flat but my husband (who is very observant) thinks this pillow made a different shape to her head. The shape of a baby head that was in a donut shape... I can't really describe what shape that is.... I see what he is saying but its better than a flat back of the head and I know now that she's 6 months old and sleeping all over the crib in various positions, I think her head would have rounded out on its own anyway. This is NOT a must have item in my opinion. Its a good to have item if you are paranoid about the shape of your baby's head, but I think what the books and dr's say is true- unless the baby ONLY likes to sleep on his/her back even as older kids, they will eventually round out their head anyway. But if you talk to my friend she would tell you to buy two- but her baby's head isn't perfectly shaped either. I see the shape my husband refers to as "looks like its been in the donut" shape more prominently on my friends baby's head...

Looks much better now!
Me and my wife have been using on our 5 month old for about a month and BIG difference! Use during naps, and sitting in her bouncy chair. Dr said we might have to do the helmet, which prompted us to look for pillows. Looks much better now!

Fight against the flat!
I noticed my 3 week old was favoring one side of head while sleeping even when I would turn her head the other way. She was developing a bit of a flat spot and I knew that being baby #2 with a 17 month old would make it hard for me to have her constantly in my arms. This pillow worked great with rounding out her head, though it did give her a large bald patch in the back. She’s still using it at 4 months but does tend to slide off of it in her sleep so I usually end up pulling it out of her bassinet.

Great Neck and Head Support for my baby
Product looks exactly as the picture. Very nice material, and pretty soft pink color that does not pop.I mostly use this pillow on the changing table or play-mat. My daughter is 2 months old, and favors right side when looking around - so before it happened, I'm trying to prevent my daughter from having flat spot - and so far this head support is doing it's job.
