I recently purchased the Serta Rane Convertible Sofa Lounger in Light Grey Microfiber for our 5th wheel, and it has been a fantastic addition. I was unsure of the quality because of the price yet was pleasantly surprised once it arrived. I needed a futon that my son could sleep on when visiting yet that I could use in a studio apartment. The fabric is sturdy and easy to clean and unlike other futons its not hard as a brick. The only down side is trying to keep the dogs off because the color and fabric picks up hair easily (normally keep it covered ) It was super easy to assemble and came with everything needed. Beware not to flip out when you don't find screws and instructions floating around in the box it came in they put inside the velcro backing so to keep them from getting lost in shipping. Took me a minute to locate but was relieved afterwards because there was some damage to the box that was taped up by shipper and I thought they had been lost. This is worth the money and much more.

This was purchased for a basement, and it’s perfect size for that or a small living room. It’s pretty low to the ground. I’m 5’4” and I sit comfortably. The tree in the background is 3.5 feet for reference. Very cute! Exactly as pictured. Again, I’m 5’4 and I can lay down with my head and feet touching both ends. I would say this would probably get uncomfortable for people over about 5’8”. Easy to assemble, except for the wood that blocks the screws in the front. I had to dig it out with a knife. Overall, great quality for the price! It’s serta, so pretty comfortable! Lastly, I didn’t see people talk about how great the storage place for the assembly tools/instructions is. A cool way to keep everything with the item. Love the secret compartment!

This top half of the review is for a new purchase. We purchased the faux leather beige version for our RV and it is perfect. It totally fit on top of the draw that we took the old sofa off of. It is so comfortable and a perfect sleeping sofa as well. I wanted a convertible style sofa/loveseat for my office and this completely works. I love the size. It is a contemporary design and as a result it is not an old school seating where women's legs will barely touch the ground. Anyone can sit in it. I knew that coming into the purchase and love it. Looks Great. I believe it will hold up well. We are actually going to purchase a 2nd one to replace our sofa in our Travel Trailer. For it's application we will not use the legs, we will attach it to the drawer that is under our current sofa. This fits perfect.

Without going into excruciating, unnecessary details, across the board this product is pretty decent with the one major exception of size. Mainly, the part where you sit, not the backrest. It’s a bit shallow. It’s tough to slouch very comfortably, and it feels a bit like you’re sitting on the edge all the time. Setup was easy, and it’s certainly not a bad product, but after just 6 months, where I may sit in it for a few hours a day, it’s already lost quite a lot of tension in the springs. It sags quite heavily these days, and the fabric is quite loose due to this as well. The cons of this product lead to a 2 star. The price, general quality, and overall value place it close to a 4 or 5, so a 3 star feels quite perfect here. Definitely something temporary to have for a year or so, then throw away.

Construction took a long time, and requires special tools because of stripped threads. If my husband didn’t happen to have the tool or know how to fix it it would have had to be sent back. However, the futon itself is great. We had a small space to put it in and weren’t sure how it would fit in the room, but it ended up looking great. The material is good quality and hardy. The futon itself has a weird design, with an overhang on the back (see pic), but it’s not too distracting and it’d look better against a wall. It’s stuff, but new couches always are. The futon has two levels of recline which was surprising. To note, the way to fold it down is to push it all the way forward, then back. Took us a minute to figure out there was no button to push :-) That said, most people would not have been able to build it the way we got it. Could have been a one-off, but it was surprising since it was a larger brand company I didn’t expect manufacturing issues.

Hello everyone, I had purchased the Serta Rane Convertible Sofa Bed earlier this month. It was easy to set up....just take it out the box and screw on your legs and place your sofa where you like in your living room. at first I had read the reviews and I decided to go with my gut and purchase it anyway despite the reviews. when I received it, I was getting the feel of it. At first I found it to be so cute because it is a small sofa. The navy blue color made my paintings that are hanging on my wall pop. I sat down on the sofa and noticed that the seating part is a bit too small. My legs are too long for it. and when I laid down on it, I found it to be uncomfortable. It's very hard. When I opened the sofa to the bed part, I laid down and I felt the metal beam in the back of my spine. it was uncomfortable. I am 5 FT and 5 in, my legs stick out from the end of the sofa. I could barely fit on it when its closed to the sofa part and I try to lay down. I gave it a one star rating because I did not like it. But you have to be your own judge and find out if this sofa would be the best choice for you . Everyone is entitled to make the're own decisions. But this sofa would make a great addition to a RV. Ordered for a dorm room. Didn’t need anything super expensive and this looked like it would work perfect under a loft bed. Reviews were very positive, so figured we try it. Main considerations were affordability and size. We didn’t open the box until we were at the dorm. Super easily assembly (just attach the legs) and boom done. Comfort? For the time we were there, it was comfortable. Firm enough. We did not lay it flat (so can’t comment on that). But it was easy to lay flat from a seated position. Plenty long enough - definitely could fit 2 adults. Sits somewhat close to the floor but high enough so you don’t feel like you are sitting on the floor. It looks great. Hopefully will last the year and my assumption is - for a piece of furniture that won’t be used for hours every day - this is going to be perfect. Just try it. You won’t be disappointed!!

This is a lovely little twin size futon which can accommodate an overnight or weekend guest . It helped turn an old dining nook into a den/guest bedroom. I bought one of the Lucid twin size 2” foam toppers from Amazon which I shortened to add a top layer when turned into a bed which works very well .

Beautiful perfect in my small living room,just disappointed because didn’t arrived in the time and days that they need to deliver!but its very nice and cozy.
