Takaratomy Pokemon Monster Collection M Figure - M-052 - Pikachu

My son loves Pokemon and saved up his allowance to buy this figurine. When he first saw it, he acted a little surprised at how small it is (it is very small!). However, that didn't stop him from loving it. He carries it around with him everywhere, so actually the small size is kind of cool. He has added a lot more of the Pokemon figures to his wishlist, so it's definitely a hit! Fyi, the body is hard and the tail is flexible. Seems well made as long as you aren't too rough with it.

I bought this figure--and the pre-evolved and the evolved Pikachus--for my son at the holiday season (which explains why I paid more for them than they're selling for now). They're very small but are fine for display. The three we purchased have been connected together at the bases and now sit on his bookshelf. The figures I received looked like their boxes had been around the block a time or two. I inspected them carefully, though, and it didn't look like they'd been opened, though there was a couple small tabs of clear tape on the back of the packages. It seems to be part of the manufacturer's packaging.One thing I didn't figure on was that even though they come from Japan, they're not made in that country. When I read the "imported from Japan" part of the Amazon description, I naively thought they might be made there. Alas, they are made in China *for* the Japanese market. The only English writing on the back is "Tomy", "For sale in Japan only", "Made in China", and the words "best wishes!" in the logo at the top (also the word ShoPro in another bubble).

For how much it costs it is not worth the money I bought it for my son's birthday cake and it's the size of maybe two gold dollar coins. Very displeased with this product.

I was a Pokemon fan growing up.. .And now my son is! These figures are great and sturdy for just pretend play with other toys. They are small (about one inch tall) but adorable! Nerdy Mom and kid approved!

Extremely small, but I knew to expect that before ordering. The recipient was excited to get this. I would have given this item five stars except that the tail seems very fragile and I worry that with even the smallest amount of jostling it could fall off. It is definitely not intended to be used as a toy and I would not recommend purchasing this item for a child.

Yes they are about 2"-2.5" tall. They are one the pricier side but he loves them. I bought my son all the starter pokemon (squirtle, charmander, and bulbasaur) and Pikachu. His favorite pokemon is bulbasaur. He plays with them all and has his mini battles with them. He also uses his action figures like Captain America and Iron Man as the trainers. Its fun to watch him play. And after the pokemon battle then the trainers battle to lol. Like I said it is a little expensive but the value is determined by how much my 3yr old plays with them and right now thats quite a bit so I am happy about that!They dont have moveable parts. But they are very easy to stand up. They do come with a rotating platform they can stand on as well. My son loves that they require no effort to stand up because sometimes he struggles with his action figure to get them to stand on his own. They are a great replica of the cartoon.

The quality is excellent. Be careful about the size of this product, it's smaller than it appear in the screen.

My Pikachu arrived in perfect condition. I'll confess that I haven't actually thrown it around or anything to test its durability, but it resembles the Pikachu that is on the TV show, so I'm satisfied.It came with a pokeball-shaped platform (roughly 2"x2") to stand on that looks like it's meant to hook up to other platforms.The tail is really floppy as compared to the rest of the toy, and seems delicate.

ピカチュウの声優さんって、ピカピカばっかり言って大変ですね。この商品は回転する台みたいなものが付いてくるんですが、それにモンスターを乗せて回しても大概倒れます。こどもは、いくつかの回転する台を接続して（そういう仕様です。）モンスターを乗せず回して遊んでいます。そういった意味では機構の勉強になり役に立ってる・・・？かな。ピカチュウは安定のかわいさ。結構小さいですから現物見たこと無い人はおもちゃ屋さん等でこのシリーズを見ておくといいと思います。

プレゼント用での購入でしたが、店頭にないのでとても助かりました。
