Looking at Movies (Sixth Edition)

I got this book for class so I can't say for sure how it may be for someone who wants to read it out of pure interest.But I would say it definitely matched it's condition description (I got a used copy and it always worries me whether someone's idea of "like new" or "acceptable" matches my idea of it or not).It was very straightforward to read and the examples were well explained with pictures. There was a good amount of information but I don't think it's for someone who already has a good deal of cinema knowledge. This is more introductory of terms and techniques used.

Got this for my daughter's Film History & Appreciation class. Buying it directly from the college would have cost $129 (plus tax) so I'm glad I checked here first - paid $80ish for it new. I skimmed through it and it seemed well written and easy to follow. Her professor skipped around the book and only used maybe 1/3 of the chapters and my daughter didn't even need those access codes. Had I known that, I could have bought the book used.. Ugh. Oh well. Now that she's done with the class, I can sell the book..

So far, so good. I’m really enjoying the breakdown of Watching Movies. Also, it did come with the codes required by my instructor.

Great rental for school. It came fast, cheap, and easy to rent. I have three boys in college; we rent all their books through Amazon. It's great.

Good for my class! A little confused why it says you can’t return it if the shrink wrap is broken on a rented book.....

I needed this book for a college course I am taking. The book has a little bit of wear and tear but it is still in good condition. I have rented books through Amazon before and have never had an issue.
