Great addition to my agile coaching library
As I move from an engineering role into more of a leadership role, this is the first book I've read on facilitation, and it has become a valuable resource in my tool box. As one reviewer said, some of the information provided could be considered obvious; and I would add "unless it's not obvious for somebody new to facilitation". Good book to have on your shelf if you're in a servant-leadership position, like a Scrum Master or an Agile Coach.

Chock full of hands on facilitation skills
I wish I had read this years ago, but I will still get so much out of this book. Its one of those books you highlight things on just about every page. Very practical and clearly explained techniques, along with anecdotes.

Fantastic for Collaboration and Consensus building
This book stands out as one of my favorites on how to really build collaborative teams, and to build consensus. It is full of real-world examples and specific techniques. This is a hard topic to tackle, and I believe that the authors write from experience. The techniques in this book are not just for "Agile" project managers. They can be applied to many different teams on how to facilitate and develop collaboration in meetings, better decisions through consensus, and generally gain team commitment.

Just Great !
This is an (often) unknown resource for any Agile practitioner (or anyone who have to facilitate collaborative meetings), even the book is a bit outdated (2006), the principles there are always true and practicable. My meetings are so much more efficient since I read it !

This book is about Meetings
First: The book is about meetings. Yes, about managing them (or playing the collaborator) but still about meetings.Second: I already know what a meeting is and do not need an explanation for that.Third: As the book tries not to be a book about meetings, it does a very poor job.
