This is a great little manual treadmill for kids (of appropriate age)! It is solidly made of metal, and I've been very impressed. I had one little "glitch" and that was that one of the only plastic pieces broke (the belt adjuster) but I was able to fix that by running to the hardware store and getting a washer to hold the tension screw... so far, so good... and I placed the plastic cap back on, so it looks like nothing ever happened. As far as other reviewers with the smell... I believe that is just ridiculous. *Of course* there is a smell at first, it would be silly of anyone to expect it not to! It has metal gears and and belt that moves, it HAS to have a lubricant put on the internal gears, or it would rust and fall apart (since it is made of SOLID metal gears and welded metal tubes!). It would be useful to adults considering purchasing this to use some common sense, if your family can't tolerate smells for a few days, put it in the garage or a room with open windows. We put it in the garage for about 3 days and completely got rid of any odors for us before we brought it inside... but it was definitely the smell of gear lubricant (if you've ever smelled it, you know EXACTLY what it is --no mystery here). As for some reviewers stating that it's not safe, I'd have to say their child must have been too young (be it physically or mentally). All children progress at their own pace, but I can say this, I own an adult treadmill, and my child was constantly trying to walk/run on it... to the point that he would get on and manually "make" it run, (yes, he is that strong, lol!) even though it was unplugged. Now that is unsafe, and this little treadmill fixed that problem completely. Now he knows he has his own treadmill, I explained to him that I weight too much to walk on his, and he doesn't weigh enough to walk on mine --and he completely understood. ;) It's working out great, and WE are working out together!!! It's awesome to look over and see your little boy walking with you!

COMPLETE GARBAGE! the company links together multiple items that have good feedback reviews and bad, to offset the garbage they are trying to sell. while putting together i noticed the legs were rusted out like the rusting you get on a car after years, and falling apart then it was painted over with yellow paint. i tried calling the company to no avail left multiple messages to no avail, i emailed them and guess what, i got no reply. what a waste of money. that my story but let me tell you about the unit, guess what ITS GARBAGE TOO! my 35lb daughter got on the unit and the belt didn't even budge, after noticing i adjusted the belt mechanism according to the manual, still nothing, she had to apply too much pressure pushing backwards to move the belt an inch. so i tightened the belt a bit more and guess what happened? the unit broke off its plastic mount. basically what I'm saying is SAVE your headache and build your own kids treadmill it'll be much more worth it than buying this and trying to contact this horrible manuafacture.

This product is better than I expected! Our daughter is 3 1/2 years old, and she loves watching me run on my treadmill and do other fitness activities. One day, she asked if she could have a treadmill, and I said that I didn't think that they were made for children. Then, I found this item! My husband said that it was somewhat of a bear to put together, but the quality is great! I think the item is a lot sturdier and durable than I was expecting. Of course, it is a bit difficult for a little 3 year old to move the self-propelled treadmill belt, but anything different would be a safety concern. I love the product, and love that my little girl jumps on, pushes the timer buttons, and tries to exercise just like her mommy!

This kids treadmill was a great buy for my kids. They love this already. My order arrived days earlier than expected and it was easy to put together. My only complaint is that the tread is hard to adjust. Ours came shifted to the left and kept getting caught. Once we balanced the roller’s everything was fine.

I was shocked that they really make a Tread Mill for kids. I have a granddaughter that asked for one for her birthday because her parents work out all the time and she wasn't allowed on the big one. She wanted to work out with them. Was shocked that they will actually make one. I ordered it and on the first one the box looked like it had been ran over, and the plastic parts on it were broke, I contacted Amazon they immediately sent a new one and a label to return the broken one. The new one arrived in time we assembled it and was it cute. It was the hit of the birthday party for sure her 3 year old brother loves it just as much, please realize my granddaughter is very small for her age. She makes it go so fast it was like watching a hamster on a wheel we were all cracking up. My daughter in law was shocked that they really make such an item as well. Very durable product will be around for years. We all love it.

My kids love it but get irritated that the belt isn’t smooth at all. It’s perfectly centered and we’ve done all the adjustments recommended but the belt gets hung up in the two same spots where there’s a seam every time it circles around so it takes a lot of force to keep it going which is not easy for a toddler with little legs to do.

I Have been a faithful buyer from Amazon, and i love shopping with Amazon and have never ever been disapointed!! and encourage others to shop with you as wee. and they do. So i needed to take the time to tell you about one of the products i purchased recently, Redmon Fun and Fitness Exercise Equipment for Kids - Tread Mill . DONT BUY THIS... I was so disapointed, The belt does not roll properly, there is a dredful,toxic chemical smell on the treadmill that has consumed our house,. At first i thought well once i put it together and sudwash it down it should go away, we did not realize we had got use to the smell while putting it together, when leaving the house to go get dinner came home and could not breath in our own home, we were really overwhelmed, to tired to take it down, covered it with two sheets and a comforter, and we could still smell it.... I cannot wait until UPS comes a get that toxic chemical smelling treadmill out of our house tomrw,. Its in the cushion that covers the steel bars,and when my son tries to walk even run its to hard for the child to rotate the belt.By him being a driven five year old who wants to be able to do so he fell hard a coulple of times so then it became Dangerous AND Toxic,. this is soppse to be for kids??? And i also felt bad because i had to explain to him the Mommy had to send something he wanted so bad back, also mad because i let him breath in that crap before realizing how Toxic the smell was..TWO THUMBS DOWN.... Dear Amazon. DO NOT BUY AND SELL FROM THIS COMPANY ANYMORE PLEASE,. ps it looks like i gave it one star, i didn't, i just could not erase that.

The first time I ordered it I did have problems with the belt alignment I tried fixing it myself but it just got worse so I exchanged it within the first 30 days and they sent a replacement now it’s working pretty good It did take my daughter a few minutes to figure it out but I suggest lifting one of their legs and helping them pull back the other as they start to get the hang of it make sure they’re holding on to the handlebars go help with them learning also It comes with everything needed to get it working but the 2 AA Batteries for the little timer (L key and screwdriver included) I suggest keeping the box and everything for the first 30 days when you first get it just in case you have to exchange it out it

Kids love it..great construction

Well built. Takes some strength to move the belt. Will wear kids out fast.
