Porter Designs Daphne Sofa, Regular, Purple

Took 2 1/2 weeks from order to be delivered by truck. Received 2 days ago. Too heavy and large for UPS so you will be dealing with local trucking company. In our case it was Estes Trucking. Packaged in single box. Note specs states it is 94 lbs. Truck driver brought sofa inside house. Looked like cardboard took a beating but no damage to sofa. The legs (5) have to be installed, but easy process. Make sure they are very tight or your sofa will wobble. There are locking screws to prevent the legs from backing out. You also must install the back of the sofa by sliding it into brackets in arms. [Brakets on sofa back and arms are preinstalled]. Took 2 of us to get it properly aligned. Once installed it should be firm and cannot be moved either forward or backwards. What we found was if you align the back of the sofa to the back of the arms both the backside of the sofa and back of the arms are flush. Make sure you push the back down firmly. If the back wobbles, try again. The quality seems to be good and more sturdy than IKEA. The cushions are NOT removable. It feels sturdy to my 250 lbs. We are very happy with the purchase and would buy again. We are real consumers and this is not a paid for review.

Update:The couch frame broke after my roommate sat down firmly. The couch is less than a year old. I’m so sad.We bought this couch a few months ago, and I like it a lot. It is deep enough for someone to nap on comfortably, and the fabric is a nice color. I only have two concerns— first is that the fabric snags easier than I’d like, so take care when sitting with belts or fabrics that grab. The second concern is that the cushions are a bit saggy, and I’m worried they won’t stand the test of time. The center of the couch is particularly uncomfortable due to this lack of stuffing in the cushions.The aesthetic of the couch is spot on, and we get loads of positive feedback from friends on it. I just hope it holds up for years from now.

While attractive the reason I ordered it ended up being untrue. I asked the manufacturer the seat depth and the answer was 26 inches. Whelp it's not. It is only 23 and I specifically ordered this for the extra depth. Not too happy with the outcome.

Love, love, love this couch! So pretty and comfortable. The color is amazing. Depth if seat is fantastic, great napping couch.

Love it. Just what the room needed and not too hard to assemble. Be aware, the color is more like a blue grey than just plain grey.

I love my new sofa.
