Moderna Mega Comfy Enclosed Raspberry Litter Box for Cats, X-Large

I was looking for a bigger box for my biggerr cat that is having trouble getting up into the litter box.The opening is lower to the floor and she does have roomto get in and turn around. However, I really detest the top portion that is used for storage. It's pretty much worthless. The handle is the closure on it so when you are lifting it up the lid stays closed. But when you put it down again it will fall open and the scoop and bags fall out. Not a big issue just annoying to me. The scoop is very small so unless you want to be scooping over a long time, you will want to use a different one. The rounded corners in the front are a bit harder to scoop with a bigger scoop. I don't like the storage for the bags, it takes away from the cat's head room. I've going back to unscoopable litter and bags because my cat just won't poo in it with natural litter and I've misplaced my bags. the jumbo bags are too small so now I'm in search of bags. I'd give it a higher rating but having trouble locating bags. I've found a brand at petco that supposedly are big enough, but pretty spendy. No choice of color but I received a navy blue which would have been the one I had chosen.

When they say "mega" they mean mega. I have two decent sized cats (between 14-15lbs each) and they could both fit inside this litter box easily. The latching/seating of the top onto the bottom is a bit tricky at first at it fits with in a slot, but this is a good thing. Sometimes my cats would urinate right up against the side of the box and there'd be some leakage between the top and bottom. Not with this thing.The top compartment is great for the filter and liners as well as the handle. Best of all, this is the best dual-swinging door I have had on any litter box. So many of the unidirectional swinging doors have a tendency to get stuck. I've even had cats trapped inside boxes before. This one has a great swing in/swing out door that makes it easy for my cats to use and keep the litter inside the box as well.Great deal and quality build for the price. I'd definitely recommend to anyone who owns more than one cat or larger cats.

This is the best litter box my cats have used. I bought the mega size, hopefully my cats don't feel cramped in the space.My cats have been using this box since August 2011.The Moderna website is [...]Reasons I like the box for my cats:1) I think my cats like the box. To acclimate them to the Moderna box I put it next to their old box (Boodha Clean Step) and in a matter of hours they started using the Moderna box exclusively.2) Unlike the Boodha Clean step box this box does NOT leak...ever.3) There is a compartment on top of the box that allows storage of the scooper and litter bags/liners. The way the scooper is stored is very sanitary. The handle stays clean.4) The door is securely attached so my cats have not been able to rip the door off like other boxes they've used that have doors.5) The plastic this box is made of is hard and very sturdy. The box is well made. It appears that a lot of thought and testing went into this box.Things I would like too see:1) A larger/wider scooper.2) Color choice. I received the navy blue but would have picked the red color.

This box is great. I bought it because my boy had outgrown his previous box and needed a larger one. I like that it has a door since my cat isn't bothered by them. It's easy to clean with one big caveat — one of the latches on the box I received wouldn't click shut. I stretched the latch carefully and now I can get it to lock but I was disappointed that it was somewhat defective. The hatch on the top also doesn't stay completely flush with the whole lid. The seller provided me a full refund, however, and I will continue to use the box.

Ok, we have gone through our fare share of litter boxes to find the one that is right for us. We like this box (but it is a little big) a lot more so than other boxes. The only thing about this box that we just can't seem to get rid of is the smell of the litter after a few minutes of our cat going in it. We have even gone as far as to scoop right after she goes and the smell is still there. We change the whole litter on the 3rd day cause it just get really bad. What can we do to make the smell go away?

I love that I can scoop out the liter and it doesn’t stick to the inside. This is very sturdy. So sturdy I couldn’t get the latches at first. Don’t get me wrong. I am very glad it was slightly hard to get them at first. The other liter box I had the top would pop off and it was annoying. All I. All I love the color and the style!!

I have a large cat and it's been really difficult to find a litter box, especially the ones with a roof. We would leave his litter box on our balcony because of the smell and the litter just goes all over the place. We stumbled upon this Mega Cat Litter box. It was delivered before the estimated delivery date. We keep this new one in our bathroom so he has one inside the house. My cat immediately used this one and he has grown fond of it. I havent seen him use the old one at all since we got it. Although the litter box comes with a scoop, i recommend buying a metal one.

This litter box was 2nd one I purchased , loved the first one so much , its got plenty of room for large cats , easy to clean a little heavy but expected only problem wasnt with box it I'm guessing was with shipping , was missing one of the snap down locks and it has a crack where the lock was besides that would have it a 5 star !
