Is the roller easily detachable? thanks!

Accepted Answer

No. You have to unscrew multiple screws to get to the brush roller.  I have to do this often because hair gets tangled on it every single time I use it.

Does it clog up easily?  Not the roller but up in the hose.

So  I’ve taken apart this vacuum twice. The first time, I had used it for literally six months and let it suck up anything in it’s path. We have a 20 lb cat that is bigger than Garfield and a Pug. I don’t know how educated you are on pugs- but literally the worst dog in the history of dogs. They’re man made to look the way they do and therefore they have tons of trouble breathing, they have problems with their eyes falling out, they have skin irritations that make them shed constantly because of their breathing making there body feel as though it can never cool down, etc. So this dog literally sheds as much as a husky. I feel like depending on what part of the country you live in will determine how often it clogs up. We live in Indiana and there’s high humidity during the changing of seasons to where your carpet will feel damp from the moisture in the air and the vast change in temperatures creating condensation (like having your a/c on 68 and opening the door to the house when it’s 90 degrees outside. So our vacuum was clogging due to the pet hair being kind of damp and it kind of just packing together into a brick almost. After clearing it- everything was good until I sucked up a bottle cap to a Dr Pepper bottle with the hose and it blocked out the suction. That was fun to get out. With that being said- our hose now has some huge dings in it where i beat it on our driveway BUT it did not break. And it definitely should have.

multi-surface cleaner? Is this vacuum designed best for only carpet or will it work well on all surfaces (hardwood floor, vinyl?)

You can operate it with the brush not spinning, so I have found it to work on non-carpeted floors as well. I am very happy with this vacuum cleaner.

Question 4

Does anyone else experience the plug constantly falling out of the outlet?  I have tried almost every plug receptacle and it eventually just falls out
