K&N SU-4002-T Powerlid Airbox Cover Suzuki Ltz400 03-08; Kawasaki Kfx400 03-06

Not wanting to spend crazy amounts of money, but looking for a bit more horsepower, I purchased this K&N Powerlid for my Suzuki LTZ400Z 2007 (carburetor model). I called on the assistance of a mechanic friend to install the jets in the carb, and kept the internal foam air filter (Twin Air foam filter) as I ride in sand, so didnt want to risk engine damage. After setting up the right jets on the carb, I was impressed with the low and mid range gains in throttle response (and you will be to). This is a good kit, and if you ride in sand or through water, use the K&N outerwears cover over the air lid to prevent engine damage and wash it after every ride. It is good bang for your buck. If you want more horsepower, then you will either be happy with this or need to save up for a 450 racing quad.

I love K&N products. This lid gave me so much added power to my LTZ 400. I also purchased the K&N filter for the ATV as well. The two add so much power to your ATV. The drycharger does a great job of keeping the dirt out of the filters.

so i asked before i ordered it. answer was very clear it comes with the needed jets and chart to rejet . i paid extra to get it one day so it would b ready for xmas morning (tomorrow) just opened it there was filter lid and pre filter thing no paperwork and no jets. so now it cant b used for our xmas trip. dont hav time to drop it at shop to hav it jetted . hell for tht matter no one will even b open.

fits my 09 LTZ 400 very well. now my stock air filter stays much cleaner when riding in dusty conditions
