This was my first ever cross stitch work and the stamping made it very easy to complete without having to focus on counting stitches. Everything was great quality and more than enough floss was included to complete the whole project. I have noticed some reviews pertaining to the stamping showing through the stitches. This is absolutely the case but the ink used in stamping is water soluble and completely washed out. I followed the instructions included for washing the final product and the ink came right out and left a perfectly white canvas. No need to purchase alternative canvases or yarn. I would 10/10 order again and am looking forward to giving my piece as a gift!

Loved making this one for a friend. I just changed the color of the cross to purple. She had Chiari Malformation (on her brain), and purple is the awareness color.

This is the first cross stitch I have ever done. The directions were really simple.I know people say they are confused but that's only because there are 2 different legends, when you compare the symbols to the numbers then everything lines up perfectly.At first I was worried the print would show through the thread, however once you completely your project you soak it in lukewarm water with some Woolite and it gets rid of the stamp perfectly.This was one of the best hobbies I have picked up and I have now bought several patterns through JoySunday!

I bought and used yarn that did not come with the kit to have a background and I used double the thread amount for the giraffe because the colors printed on the fabric were to bold and stood out from underneath the yarn.

I am writing this just as I completed my picture. It was one of the best art projects I have undertaken. The kit is very easy to do. It just takes a lot of time and patience. Took me 6 months to complete it, doing an hour or so everyday. This was my first cross stitch and I have never done anything like this before. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try something new. There is enough floss for the picture and I have almost 1-2 stands 6 thread stands per colour remaining. It will make for an excellent gift for anyone looking for a long term project. No artistic background required.Highly recommended!!

I don’t really think this is a good choice for a first time cross stitcher, even though it is pre printed. Has a lot of metallic thread, that can be a pain to work with. Might be worth getting better quality metallic thread and using Thread Magic to coat the thread. Knowledge of the Pin Stitch would also be a big help! I used a Q Snap with this and it worked well.

I like the way the pattern is printed on the fabric and how easy the instructions are! It’s coming along nicely. I can’t comment on how well the printing washes off after completing the work, since I have yet to finish. Hope it comes off easily. I’m loving it, so far!

This product took ages to arrive and when it did, the kit is very difficult to follow and the finished article is very different to the picture. The colours of the threads were very different to the illustration, and the instructions were very difficult to understand and make sense of (I am an experienced cross-stitcher and I struggled). The fabric they sent was pre printed in very bold colours but there is no guidance on what to do as it would still be visible on the finished item. I ended up using a different piece of aida to ensure it finished up more or less as per the photo in the advert. I definitely wouldn't get another kit from this supplier.
