We’ve had this for about 3 years now and it is great. High quality and gave my kid the confidence to swim all over. Bright colors for added safety. No inflation needed. It is a tad on the bulky side, but not too much.y child float easily and feels secured. I am not sure about the 55 lbs weight max. I guess if it was a taller kid with a slim built, but once 40lbs were reached, it was a very tight fit.

Buy this life vest!!! There is a reason these have a 4.8 rating with 17,000 purchases!! My grandson, age 2, had a different swim vest/water wings last year and his body was tipping too far forward with his face barely out of the water. So I researched until I found this Coast Guard approved vest. He now floats high above the water and is completely upright and safe in the pool! Thank god I found this! My daughter and son-in-law LOVE the vest and the safety. Buy a very bright color so they are easy to see.

These floaties are AMAZING. I wasn’t too sure about them, and I wasn’t sure how my son was going to like wearing them. We put them on him for the first time today, they went right on and I didn’t even have to adjust the back strap. The arm floats were a little big, but just enough so they weren’t too tight and he has a little more room to grow. He had no problem wearing them, and within 5 minutes of being in the water, he was off on his own (as in a few feet away from me, swimming and twirling around). Within 15 minutes, he was jumping off rafts into the water all on his own, laughing and having a blast, not scared at all. Last summer he wouldn’t even go in the pool without me, and only me, holding him. So I was skeptical about how he’d handle these. They worked perfect, and made him feel safe and secure. They made me feel safe too. Now it’s only been a day, so I don’t know how long they will last, but if and when they do need replacing, I will be getting this product again, and I will be using this product when my 6 month old is ready for them as well. I never leave reviews either, but I had to for this product. I can’t believe how easy my son warmed up to the pool while wearing these, he felt so safe. Worth the money! I’d give ten stars if I could. Btw my son is 2 1/2 years old, and weights about 35 pounds and like I said, they fit really well, and he still had some room in his arm floats.

My 5 year old loves the water, but can’t swim. He seems to think you must open your mouth when hitting the water! As I’ve got an indoor 5’ pool now, I’ve dreaded him getting in. I’ve tried other floating assistance tools & none have worked well. Many tip him over into the water, others don’t float much, and many broke easily. This one is a game changer though!! It’s cute & sturdy. He finds it comfortable & doesn’t complain about using it. Best of all? He actually floats to the surface quickly when jumping in, stays about water without tipping forward nor backwards, and has been able to doggy swim with it on to maneuver around the pool all by himself! I expected way less than what this has provided. The peace of mind I feel alone is worth the price tag. I’d recommend this to anyone & purchase again if I needed a new one. He is average height & weight for his age group. Fits a toddler just fine! Thanks to the company producing these amazing devices!!!

Amazing! Coast Guard certified and works great! Gave our 2 year old so much confidence in the water when he wouldn’t let go of me before because he feared the water. Adorable dinosaur design and gave me so much peace of mind while having 2 kids under 5 at the pool!!

This is cute but definitely runs small! I bought the shark floatie for my 2 1/2 year old son who weighs 32 lbs and the adjustable strap in the back is allllllmost fully extended. Which means, it fits him okay this summer, but by next summer when he’s 3 1/2 I’m wondering if it will be too tight on him? The weight limits says 30-50 lbs but I honestly can’t see how this would fit a larger child. (In fact, if would probably fit someone under 30 lbs pretty well). I’ve included pics of my two year old wearing this (32 lbs and it’s pretty fitted as I stated above) as well as my 48 lb 6 year old (who doesn’t need it but I wanted to show what 48 lbs on a skinny kid looks like. I couldn’t even buckle the strap around him). I do like that it has a built in vest which will hopefully deter my child from trying to slip his arms out of the floatie part.

Perfect for my toddler. He is 4 and this works great. Is easy to put on and adjust. The quality is great too! I really like that it has a vest that helps keep the float on. We only use this in the pool and it works perfect for that.

IMPORTANT: the most important thing is to get your child--no matter how young, in a swimming program. We started ours very early. JUST DO IT: COST WILL BE WORTH IT. With that said: This particular flotation device is great for children who haven't yet learned to swim and you want to be sure they will stay up while playing in the water. We have 3-4 years old grandchildren who don't live near by and they were visiting this weekend. Since we have a pool we were not taking a chance. I bought two of these and couldn't be happier. This is better than arm wings ONLY--the added support around the chest keeps them up and makes it possible for them to "swim." It keeps them up and allows them to use their arms and legs as the "swim." They have a couple of sizes and you have to usually order online. THEY ARE WORTH IT--But swimming lessons are the best defense.

The cuffs keeps the jacket from bunching around the neck which makes movement much easier for child .

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we haven't been able to start our 2 year old daughter for swim classes as we had initially intended to. This caused her to have fears of the water and she refused to be "let go" if she was in the water. We had planned a day at the water theme park and part of me worried that she would be too afraid to try the rides or even be in the kiddy pool due to this fear. But once she had her Paddle Pals on - she was a completely different child. Her confidence in the water came back and she was an extremely happy camper with the rides. She even refused to leave the place! We even had other parents come and ask us what we were using for her.

Best floatie for swimming I’ve tried yet.
