Technical Pro AW1 Torque Audio 2U Professional 2CH Power Amplifier

The dual amplifier went out at our church building, and I need to find a replacement a dual channel, this item work perfectly, sound system back up and running, for the cost you cannot beat it.

This is not an amplifier for Dj, I do not even dare to call it a home amplifier, it is a total disappointment. First, the value of the power is super overestimated, I have another professional amplifier 120 watts rms @ 8 omh and sounds really loudness and sharper than this and I do not think actually exceed 50 watts rms @ 8omh per channel. Moreover, the publicity offers have 2 cooling fans (which are indispensable to be classified as Dj amplifiers) and do not bring them, ie , it have not how dissipating the dammed heat within the housing. This amplifier is only for very small applications, it is almost a toy. I contacted the seller to see if he send at least the fans for install it but his attention to after sales is almost zero. I recommend to spend a little bit more and buy a really professional amplifier.

So far so good. I've purchased a few weeks ago to power a 15" subwoofer for low-end bass in my small theater room. the amp not a Outlaw, or Monolith, however it gets the job moderately done. You can bridge the channels for more power, and the amp sounds decent. But I also use the amp at half power to give me just enough bass response needed for my system. But for the price, the functionality it gives is more than sufficient.

Replaced my crown amp with this unit and it works great! Had to do a little EQ but does the job admirably!

I found after attempting to connect my RCA(Low Level Signal Out) to this units RCA(Signal In) from my HDMI receiver to push 2 - 4ohms 12" MTX DJ speakers that I was getting no sound output, but while I was messing around with it one of the RCA's center pole fell on my (pos) output of my High Level Left Front Speaker and I heard sound. After further connection I found that this unit accepts High Level Signal Input which I was not expecting but it works for me cause I thought I would need to adjust my volumes manually from now on but with the high level input I can just set these volumes at half and use my HDMI amp to control volume. My max WPC is 145 but I am sharing this out signal with other speakers so even if this high level input is bad for this amp I am splitting/reducing that signal by half so it should not really damage the unit I believe.The reason for the 3 star though is that it advertised dual cooling fans, this unit does not have fans at all. When you look into the grills on the side you see the felt covering the front panel but no fans all I see inside is some cooling heat sinks.Also the blue level indicators are way to bright (found out while watching a movie in the dark) had to put something in front of thosetill I can open it up and disconnect or lower the output with some resistors, Or you can just find some black tape to match the color of the unit and cover up the lower blues so you can still see the clipping red indicators.Oh.. And I actually cut and made my own cable from an old RCA cable I had but you can do a search for "High Level Speaker to Low Level RCA Adapter" and use that.

I connected this dual amp to two high end 12in sub-woofer speakers mounted on a frame in my ceiling, with the back open to the attic above (infinite baffle) and the speakers pointed straight down. This puppy will perform CPR on a stopped heart. I trim the volume down to about 50% to keep the woof at the right level. It adds SO much to the overall sound.I do with the unit had an automatic timed shutdown mode or a remote control on/off.

This product does not turn on what so ever, when open had a dent on the left corner. No power sign indicate that is on or any type of power source light showing is working. I really wanted to try out this amp but guess not not trying to see if the seller exchange for another. I AM NOT paying shipping and handling over $70 for a product that didn't even turn on, plus more its more then the product cost $. There should be no reason why I should pay for return/shipping.
