My cousin’s grandson needed these for a school project

Great playset!
My grandson loves this. I only wish the characters were a bit larger. Having been to Jamestown a number of times, I appreciate the variety of characters and objects--especially the ship, which was a big hit with the grandson. It's an educational set and entertains children with vivid imaginations.

No Taxation without Representation.
I’m using these figures to teach children how we came to America on the Mayflower (I already have the wooden ship and Old World Map) then taxation on what we own by King George III. I’m using chocolate coins for them to pay the taxes on the chicken and pig and property they will each own. Then the ship can float back to England with all the chocolate coins on the old World Map. The figures look pretty cool and having barn animals and an outdoor fire just adds to the realism.

Just looked at the pics not that only 10 were included
I guess my fault. I assumed the characters in the pictures would be included in the set. All I wanted was the ship but only 10 items came not the 12 pictured. Will be returning and keep my fingers crossed I can find a small ship for a school project due in a few days...

Great for our history lessons
I purchased this to go with our unit study on Jamestown Settlers. I thought it was pretty cool that they had such a specific set that went with what we were studying. They are great quality and the selection of poses and people makes it a versatile set for creating realistic scenes from that era. We pair them with lincoln logs for a fort even thought the logs are a bigger scale. :) My two year old loves playing along, especially with this pig and chicken.
