Killer Wifi is garbage and GPU is not configured correctly out of the box.
There is no indication on the page, but this laptop uses the garbage "Killer" network software and drivers. I have spent the first two days with this laptop just getting these removed and working to get Windows to use the Intel drivers instead. With the de facto setup, internet speed is sporadic, and even though speed tests show 100mbps it struggles to load anything because every time a new request is sent the entire network hangs for one to five seconds. Forcing an Intel driver resolves this without any issue, though now I'm jumping through the hoops required to prevent Windows from reinstalling the Killer garbage. The next major issue is the GPU. Because like many gaming laptops this uses a processor with an integrated GPU in addition to the dedicated GPU without proper configuration it will run things on integrated without any prompting. My assumption is that buying a device with an RTX 2080, with the MSI software installed and everything geared towards gamers and heavy users, is that the device will be configured to prefer the dedicated vs. integrated out of the box. The ASUS I bought my wife for less than half the cost of this thing didn't have any trouble. But in addition to the network drivers I've had to fight with NVidia to get all the old settings purged and implement new ones preferring the dedicated GPU. Disabling the integrated outright isn't an option in the bios, only through Windows, which means that Windows keeps trying to shove OpenGL on the disabled integrated graphics. Otherwise I would have simply killed integrated pre-Windows boot, but I have no choice but to leave it enabled until I can convince Windows to push OpenGL onto the card instead.Unless someone has a background in this kind of troubleshooting, this laptop will prove to be a headache for most people.I honestly don't know if I would have bought the device if they advertised the Killer wifi. Not even the MSI website mentions "Killer" for the GE63 as of the time of this review. I don't blame them for not telling people. As long as it's not soldered in, I'll probably try to swap to a pure Intel wifi in the future if it won't void the warranty.Update: Graphics card issues could not be resolved. I'm unable to get more than 30fps in spite of updaing nvidia drivers and telling the nvidia control panel manually to force the RTX 2080 card for each program on which I tested. These were games ranging from 2014 to 2019 which I am able to run flawlessly on my RX 480 8GB card in spite of the presence of integrated graphics. This has been a complete waste of my week.

Solid Laptop once you get it up and running.
I bought this laptop for work and I needed something that was a graphical powerhouse. For a Laptop, this thing brings the power. I am fairly certain this thing outperforms my gaming PC from late 2017.So far, I have had very little to complain about. It took a little while to get all of the drivers up to date and get everything working (audio drivers specifically gave me trouble for a day or two) but once everything was set I've had no further problems. On the more superficial side, this thing is a fingerprint MAGNET, so keep that in mind if you really value the aesthetic side of your laptop. The battery life can also be very short, especially if you are doing anything intensive, but that is to be expected as this thing is a powerhouse. If you're looking for a laptop that can compete with a mid to high end PC, then I can safely recommend this one. It's a little heavy and carries a lofty price, but if you're in the market for a powerhouse laptop, you could do much worse than this one.

Great for VR
Bought this laptop to have something portable to use VR with, and it's been perfect so far.
