My son decided he 'must have' this costume for Halloween. He initially saw it in a catalog. I'm glad I checked Amazon! Even with shipping, we saved $10 over any catalog price I found.My son is very slender, and the costume worked just fine for him. It's worn well over time and the mask makes it a lot of fun. (I know they say not to wear the mask, but he did really well with it, finding the eye holes well positioned for great visibility, while not too large, so nothing was lost in terms of the overall look.)

My son loved it! Got a large which was a good choice. He is normally a medium but I wanted a loose fit.

Bought a size medium for my 8yr old, fits great. We didn’t shrink up the mask yet but will do that when it’s closer to Halloween. Overall great costume! Staff accessory came from party city.

I would give this a 5 start rating for the whole costume for its price but there is a weird thing happening with the hat. The stuffing is seeping out in little white puffs of thread. It's not totally obvious and for a 6-year old who never seems to keep clean anyway, it's totally fine.I also washed it in hot water with detergent by hand and NOTHING disastrous happened to it despite the label reading DO NOT WASH. I hung it to dry hoping the colors would not bleed or drip off onto my floor and nothing of the kind happened. Still vibrant, but just a teensy bit cleaner - for now.

The price on Amazon was a third of the local store. You can't beat that. This costume is actually very well made. The material is thick and will last. The hat is super cute and the mask is truly scary (even my son thought so). I highly recommend it.

This costume was awesome and my son loved it! It was so unique, we didn't see anything else on Halloween that compared. The only trouble we had was the "hat" didn't stay standing up like in the photo. But it still looked great. We eventually took the stuffing out of it and let it hang down and it looked just as good that way, too.

I had to adjust the headpiece for my daughter because the weight of the foam inside the hat was making it fall right off her head. The mask and the headpiece are separate and the foam inside in the headpiece is not sealed in or anything so it makes it hard for it to sit on her head the right way since it is not reinforced in any way. I fixed the problem by sewing a button on the side of the headpiece and slit a hole on the other side and buttoned it to make the headpiece fit snug right under her chin, otherwise it is too loose and falls right off. It took a while for me to figure out a solution so that I didn't have to send it back, and she really wanted to be a jester. I would just be aware that this could be an issue for you as well and be prepared to make modifications if your child really wants this costume. The rest of the costume fit her good, so it is true to size everywhere else.

My son loved his costume and received a lot of compliments!!! He wears a size 16 in kids and the XL costume fit perfect. The costume did not tear and it look just like the picture when it arrived. The head was a little big but we made it work.

Good quality costume and the sizing was accurate.
