Secure Leather Mesh Basket Dog Muzzle #16 Black - Great Dane, Saint Bernard, Mastiff (Circumference 15.5", Snout Length 4.5")

It fits my Great Dane perfectly, and he is one of those large and wide muzzled-type. I tried it on him when he was lying on the bed. After it was on, he plopped his head down and went back to sleep. Clearly not bothered by it. I have not tried it in action at the dog park, but it has a little opening for his nose to get full exposure. I also like the loop that secures it to his collar. The quality is good.

This was a well make muzzle, it fits great, allowed for panting and drinking, it 's light and strong, and slips onto collar so it is very secure. The only problem is the buckles are weak and it seems like they could easily snap. I would recommend this over other muzzles but if there is a strong animal with more that fearful snapping it might be an issue.

This muzzle is the only one my 150lb Dane can’t get off. Fits great and it’s comfy for him. I muzzle trained him with it easily and he is always ready to wear it. This muzzle does prevent drinking and eating so it shouldn’t be worn for long periods of time.

The dog (great dane) literally ate it off of his own face. We put it on him to keep him from going ballistic and destroying the house when we went out for an hour because he has massive separation anxiety. He managed to get his teeth around one of the bands and decimated the entire thing.

I have a 7 month old great dane who will chew up anything and everything if left out when we leave. I hate putting her in her kennel as she doesn't like it and will pee every single time, if even gone for only 30 minutes! I finally got fed up and thought I would try a muzzle to prevent her from chewing. I've had no problems with this product and my dog has not been able to get it off when I'm gone. It says your dog can eat or drink with it on, but I don't believe that as the spaces are pretty small and it's leather so putting on a dog that is able to drink with it would ruin the leather I would think. I should note that even for my great dane the muzzle did not go tight enough so I had to create an additional hole with a drill so it could go tight enough.

Looks good and fit very well. However my mastiff put two paws in it and snapped the rivet's and tore the leather straps, she had it off in 20 seconds.

Fits perfectly, safe and durable. Easy to put on.

Didn’t fit around his head, 185lb mastiff. I had to cut it and sew an extra leather piece to make it fit. It looks okay and because he is mild mannered it was a good starter muzzle. It’s very light and flexible but definitely would not control his bit if it came done to it. It also sits very close to his eyes which he doesn’t like.
