Hands-Free Communication in the Field
Bought on a Prime Day deal and just received these today. I did a short test with a traditional FRS walkie talkie. On my side, connected to my Walker’s Razor muffs, the sound quality was amazing! I tried the VOX(voice activated) on the low and high sensitivity settings and it worked best for me on the low sensitivity setting. I swapped with my daughter and tested the other way to get a gauge on the sound quality overall and it was par for the course on the FRS walkie talkie side. They are easy to use with VOX, and easy to install. I bought a set each for two of my sons for us to use while target practicing and hunting. I feel that from headset to headset these will be awesome! I cannot comment on battery life yet because these are for Christmas gifts. They do include three AAA batteries! I feel these were a good value for the price. They do not add much weight to my muffs and do not create any discomfort. I highly recommend. If I encounter any issues I will update my review.

Sturdy, convenient, good transmission
Works very well with a seamless and tight attachment to Walker Razors, transmission quality is pretty good, on par with the garden variety walkie-talkies. They are compatible with the walkie-talkies on the main channel layout, the "privacy" sub-channels is a different story cause there's really no single standard. There are published CTCSS tables with the channel numbers and frequencies, but different manufacturers are sometimes skipping some channels for whatever reasons and that messes up the numbering. If you want to use the sub-channels to isolate your traffic from the other users on the same main channel, and you want to do this in a crowded areas, prep ahead of time to figure out which sub-channel on this device matches the walkie-talkie's.Build quality is good and sturdy, and even with the radio attached, it fits under the headband collapsed to put into a range bag in compact shape.

These work great at the range!
I bought 2 of these to hook up to my Walker electronic hearing protection for me and my wife's headset as we often choose to have our own lanes to give each other more time to shoot without stepping on each other's time and sometimes we need to talk to each other, but can't hear due to all the shooting. The headset radio works great, allows me to choose a channel and a sub channel and even if I turn off the actual headset volume from filtering out sounds, these are still active and if she needs to speak to me, the sound comes through the headset without issue. It does not filter background noise like the actual electronic headset does, it acts just like a normal walkie talkie picking up all background noise, but easy 1 touch PTT function allows me to reach the button, speak quickly and she can hear me even when are a few lanes away from each other, making us not have to shout to each other or leaving our firearms unattended in the lane. If there's any issue and she needs my help, I can now talk her through it while remaining in my port. I think this is a great item and makes it easier than buying a radio, getting cables and having to worry about snagging them or getting them in the way while shooting. This simplifies our comms and even works great out in the woods for short ranges.

Good to go
Great sound and quality. If you’re an outdoors person who often travel in groups it’s great. My only issue is if you use the VOX feature at a shooting range, it’ll constantly activate your mic instead of blocking it. Best use as a PTT walkie. I use it often at the range with my wife so we don’t need phone or telling to communicate at long distances. And it looks cool. I wish it could connect to other walkie talkies with different frequencies.

Walker headset
Not bad for the price. Comms have a real Stone Mountain vibe about them. Easy to put on. Easy to program.

Don't expect color match.
I ordered a pair of these for my wife and I. The color for hers doesn't match the odg she has for hers, the fde for mine was out of stock so I got the black. They work amazingly. I can even connect them to my Midland walkie talkies so I can expand my ability to communicate with fellow shooters. Only takes up a little extra space in my range bag, and has the ability to use them with the headphones off. So can turn on headphones while in close proximity, turn on radio for distance communication. This may be something I would get for my daughters and son in laws for range days with family.

Great and fun product
Great little gadget, easy two minute install and great at a crowded range when you want to still talk while others are shooting. The voice or buttonless talking is useless, not like a military version but didn’t expect that. What’s really cool is you can all be on the same channel “group” and see a master person up that over talks all the other headsets. Great for range safety or a hunting party.

Compatible with my Razor's SEM AND SEMFS Series
I tend to read product's specs, user manuals, or YouTube for products that has any electronic components before trying to figure things out on my own to prevent user-error, compatibility issues, or breaking the product. Personally, this affordable product is great and easy to use.If you own a FIREMAX, this is NOT designed for your model or Razor Quad, which doesn't have an audio jack.
