Chamomile hydrosol is the base of this cleanser because of its astringent and anti-inflammatory qualities. Willow bark extract which fights two strains of bacteria known to be active in the formation of acne. We add glycerine, a humectant that seals in moisture, castile soap made from organic vegetable oils, essential oils of tea tree and lemongrass for their anti-bacterial properties and ability to balance oily skin. This cleanser will gently control excess oil and reduce redness without drying. The consistency of this wash is probably different than you're used to. Its more like water, not thick and gooey like most liquid soaps. That's because we don't use additives that make it gooey, they're not natural and not active ingredients. To use: simply make a little cup with the palm of your hand (closed fingers of course), pump a few pumps of the wash, then rub your hands together quickly as if to lather it up, then apply to a moist face. All natural lightweight cleanser, perfect for redness-prone skin
I have previously used Klorane Floral Water for my facial cleanser and I am glad that I came across Nyl from Carbon Beauty. Both products are for sensitive skin but Nyl has a more refreshing feeling (more like a face water than an oil/foam cleanser) and actually cleans my skin as opposed to just removing the appearance of makeup. It did a good job reducing redness and making my complexion appear more even after washing. You do have to "lather" and rinse with this product but I like that it is much more lightweight and my skin feels clean and free of residue afterwards. The fragrance is very light and just smells like Chamomile flowers- no harsh chemical fragrance at all. Bonus, this product comes in a cute glass bottle that you can use for other stuff afterwards!

Rinses easily, leaves skin clean
I received a small sample of Chamomile Face Wash when I purchased Nyl Rosewater Face Wash. I have dry skin but I honestly didn't notice a difference in how my skin felt when I used the Chamomile Face Wash, which claims to be for normal, oily, or acne-prone skin. I love the fact that both the rosewater and chamomile face wash products rinse off so easily and leave my skin feeling clean. The only reason I am giving the chamomile product 4 stars is that I am not crazy about the scent, but that's a matter of personal preference. I love the scent of the rosewater product.

Lovely chamomile
I received a sample of this from carbon beauty for reviewing another one of their products. I really like this face wash. I have super sensitive skin and after using it felt soft and smooth. The smell of this wash is just delightful even though I'm not usually a fan of floral scents. It doesn't leave any residue on face which is always good!
