Soft Suede Topaz, Fabric by the Yard

This fabric is tough on the sewing machine. I have a good sewing machine, and it has had no trouble with cottons (even heavy fabrics such as jean material!) but it struggled with this fabric. I have never sewed suede before, so it is possible that may have been a part of it, but I wouldn't consider myself a novice at sewing either. In the end I finished my project by hand. Overall I was happy with the fabric but working with it on a sewing machine was frustrating.

Not what I was hoping for and color did not match the photo. It does not look like leather as they claim.

Looks and feels like the real thing. The color is as pictured, a rich topaz. I can't wait to turn it into something wonderful.
