OSCE and Clinical Skills Handbook

This book provided me with an understanding of what would be expected of me during my OSCE. Having not performed an OSCE before, many of my questions were answered by this book. I will keep this even after my program has ended as it has a lot of useful information for once I start practicing.

The book is great but does not have an HEENT section.

There are plenty of cases for each system. The book recommends useful questions to ask the patient. My OSCE grades improved significantly after using this book. Highly recommend!

Necessary to develop clinical skills for health care professionals

You cann`t count on this book only to write MCCQE2 or NAC-OSCE.Its a big one.You can use it as additional information resource, but do not use it as a first-line reference.Its a big book, time consuming.

Only thing that threw me was there were no guidelines for a general practice wellness visit... but other than that it prepared me well.

One of the few books on clinical examination with evidence base of clinical signs. Not a necessity for your revision but it certainly gives a context to these signs we all have to learn.This book is not a last minute revision aid but certainly provides good information to dip in to through the years

I had it expedited delivery since a regular delivery will take more than two weeks.Received the package in good condition. I started reading it and I'm on page 20 so far very informative and helpful with some of it's mnemonic symbols to easily remember significant knowledge with assessments. I recommend this book. Hopefully It will help me pass my OSCE.
