Yes, the case came with some type of card that gives it warranty after it is confirmed that you bought the item. I forgot how long the warranty lasts for because I personally didn’t care for using it.

Will this fit a 2009 MacBook Pro 15” with a cd-rom?

No. it fits the 2019-2020 version with the touchbar.
