These hooks worked great. They are super easy to use. Makes putting out your bumpers easy and takes out the guess work.

I bought these to hang bumpers for my pontoon boat and they work great. I have 1 1/4 inch rails and the hangers seem to have been molded for that size. They hold well and can take some pull without coming off or breaking. I’m not sure how well they’d hold up if they were subjected to an extreme amount of pull; I’m thinking that the hole that the line goes through would likely break. I’m not going to try it though because these things are to dang expensive to test with. I really believe the price to be very high for a piece of molded plastic and I assume it’ll stay high until the patent runs out. In any case, they do work well and I’m glad I have them. It makes hanging the bumpers out a breeze. :)

Using for boat fenders off of pontoon railing, does the job

This fender/rope holder works well on our pontoon boat. Our boat, like many other pontoons, has some edges where a rope can't be secured because there is no opening between the rail and the boat (the aluminum siding comes right up to the rail in many places). These little guys attach right over the rail, and have a hole that a rope can be tied through to hold a bumper. It takes just a few seconds to put them on, and you can use a simple knot to keep the rope from slipping through. The only downside is that these slip off the rail just as easily as they slip on. So if you're not careful, you're doing to drip this, the rope, and the bumper into the water. The good news is that the bumper floats, so it is fairly easy to retrieve. And on those parts of your boat where there is a hole between the rail and the siding, you can tie another knot to avoid this problem. Overall, highly recommended - I can't think of a better way to put bumpers in all the needed places around our boat.

Great product. Was worried about them being plastic but we are several years in and no sign of degrading. Ordering another set for another boat.

Makes putting on/pulling off bumpers so easy. You just clip them on the railing.

Makes fender removal & installation simple! After you set the fender height once it's simple to clip it on the rail and drop the fender or pull up the fender and unclip it. Make it easy for passengers to help. EDIT 1 year later - these clips are still working perfectly. They fit just snug enough to stay in place on a 1 1/4" rail, but not too tight like some other clips which make them hard to use.

It works as intended. They latched securely to the top rail of my Harris tritoon. The plastic seems to be good quality.

I was waiting for this product. 2 Years ago i couldn't get it because Taylor Made was not shipping to Canada. I love this product because i can have the fenders now easily adjusted for different dock heights and it looks more professional than just a tied knot around the railing. The item itself is durable plastic which fits snug on my pontoon boat railing. A 7mm (3/4 ") rope fits easily through the eye.

They work really well. Makes moving the fenders around and in/out of pontoon boat really easy.
