What size rope does it use

I have used both 3/8" &1/2" twisted polypropylene rope successfully.

Anybody try to squeeze 1/2 rope through these ??

Yes, I managed to pass a soft braided rope by tightly twisting it to reduce the diameter. Tight but it worked, I doubt if you could pass a twisted polypropylene rope.

Where can I find this or a similar product that fits 1 1/2 inch rails?

I would imagine on the Amazon Site or Ebay.

I have ½ inch ropes, I need a clip that has a larger hole. Do we have the technology to produce one?

I’m sure they have the technology but why don’t you just put a stainless steel snap ring on the end of your rope or replace your rope.
