Still going strong in the second year of the Apocalypse
Carries on the excellent story created by J. Hickman and N. Dragotta in the same high standard as we move into the second year of the Apocalypse. The inclusion of the world The World is also a huge bonus as it helps to explain the different groups present in the version of America in East of West and the role they all play. As usual the art work and colouring are amazing and help tell the story on another level.

Good But Slower than previous volumes.
Once again a great book form Nick and John. Art and story is as good as they always are. This volume is a bit slower than the others as its spends most of it time with deaths son. Still well worth it if you are a fan of the previous volumes. Also has a nice Wikipedia type issue at the front (East Of West: The World) which give you small tip bits of lore and nation information. In summery still grate but just not as great as the others due to the slow pace.8/10

but he says that the previous volumes have been v good. However
A gift for my brother for Xmas. Haven't read any of them, but he says that the previous volumes have been v good. However, the volume was scuffed at the front on arrival, a black mark that was stubborn to come off :/

Interesting yet confusing sequel
Having read Volumes 1-3 a while ago, I’d forgotten a lot of it but Volume 4 recaps quite well. This political tale of the machinations between the global powers on a futuristic different Earth is quite involved and it is well worth while reading the first three volumes to get a grip on this collection. However the story is still confusing for me after such a long time. The Endless Nation conquer the Texas Republic. Alliances are formed. The second part deals with the development of Babylon, influenced by Balloon and the prophet Orion. This is an enjoyable read and nicely illustrated.
