DYWISHKEY 10Value 600PCS DIP Monolithic Multilayer Ceramic Chip Capacitors Assortment Kit, 0.1uF-10uF Ceramic Capacitor Set

Just received this 'kit' a few days ago and from some of the reviews was curious as to the range of values received. I checked all the 10 mfd caps from the kit. There were 64 total received so I got 4 free ones. Here's how I measured them: for a +/- 5% tolerance, 47% of them fell into this range. For a +/- 10% tolerance, 83% of them fell into this range. For a +10/-20% tolerance, 97% of them fell into this range. All 100% of them fell into a +10/-27% tolerance. The most common value was 9.5/9.4 mfd. Total range was 7.3 to 11.0 mfd. All the 10 mfd caps tested good. Their tolerances for filters is probably too great but for coupling and bypass apps just fine. I used a ultra-fine sharpie to write their values on them so knowing what they are could be used for filters now. Will wait for a nice quiet afternoon someday to go thru the other values.

An excellent, affordable selection of capacitors in a compact, well-organized box. All of the capacitors I've tested so far have had capacitance values within the listed tolerance of 5%.

I liked the price but felt each capacitor was physically smaller than I thought they would be.

I wont go into the details of MLCC's but they have some very good qualities compared to electrolytics, and are among the only capacitors to compete with them cost-wise in the 1-10uF range.These have those qualities but are cheap and there is no documentation. Testing tells the story - they are all about 20-30% below value. So a) you are getting a smaller part than you think. b) smaller parts are cheaper, and c) they are clearly parts that failed normal test and are being surplussed. Hence no documentation and low price.If you understand their goo features and the big weakness, it can still be a very good value. Low ESR. OK DA/DF. very good long term reliability. Off value in a BIG way. Sound like what you need? Actually, in my case, "yes if its cheap enough".

The packaging of these is particularly nice. Each section is divided, then the capacitors are placed in bags in each section, so it’s easy to keep them divided. Each cap is also labeled with the same labels on the sheet showing which capacitor is in which bin

I build a lot of one-off projects and nothing is more annoying than to have to put one on hold to await delivery on a 6-cent capacitor. This is a nice selection of common values at a great price. They are well made and the values are clearly labeled. What's not to like?

Recently got back into electronic building/hacking and had no "junk box" to rely on. This collection helped me build back up to a good level in all the popular sizes. I have already used several to fill in gaps in projects I am working on.
